1st week, second fast day, good news today I discovered that mullers yoghurt with 4 tsp oats only 110 calories- so thats breakfast and dinner sorted with enough left over for soup for lunch and a satsuma.feeling postive :lol:
I'm in today, my second fast of the week. :smile:

2nd one for me as well. Had a HUGE binge yesterday, whoops
I'm in too. First of the week, I was worried I would be hungry after four days of over indulgence but my body and brain both seem ready for some R&R from food and wine :)
I am happy to say, I am off to bed soon (almost 9pm & I have a PT session early in the morning) and I made it and don't feel so bad after dinner. Phew!
Another fast done. Just waiting for the electric blanket to take the chill off the bed and I'm off. Going to be a cold one in Melbourne tonight, expecting an overnight low of 2 deg C!

My first fasting day! Had a boiled egg and an orange! Sitting around as I broke my foot last week, on top of just recently had shoulder operation! Feel like I am falling apart. Need to lose 7 stones, oh it crept on over the last 12 years and I have decided enough is enough, don't like myself at the moment but I am looking forward to losing some at least. I want my stamina & energy back. Is it best to eat protein on these days? Have been told I don't eat enough! If that's so why the weight gain? Here's hoping this will be the answer to my prayers.

Late check in for me, been away for a few days and indulged in every way ;) -Felt totally stuffed and lethargic, so I'm going to do a B2B today & tomorrow and restore & reset my body & brain before the weekend ! Veg curry for supper :)

Hi Chriscrock and welcome! Sorry to hear of your issues, sometimes they all happen at once don't they? I hope you find this WOE works for you, I'm afraid I don't know enough about all the science stuff to advise on your weight gain even if you're not eating much, but I am sure some people on here can advise you. Let us know how you get on, and wishing you a speedy recovery! :wink:

It's my second for this week and so far going well. Skipped breakfast and just had a good lunch. 1/2 Tomato soup and 1/2 bread roll. This will hopefully keep me going till dinner.

Still surprised how easy it has been this week. Last week (first week) was a disaster. Sparkling water helps me big time.

Fingers crossed for the rest of the day. Evenings tends to be my biggest problem.
I'm in and I think my husband is fasting for the first time today. Maybe I should check in and see how he's doing? I think my weight loss finally prodded him into giving 5:2 a try. :)
Im in! Just had a lovely omelette packed with veggies for tea. I have about 140 calories left....any suggestions on what I can have?
I am on my first week of 5:2, and my second fast. Today is going well, I left eating as long as possible to stretch out last night's fast. It's kind of interesting to me, a constant calorie counter, how sated I can manage to feel on so few calories if I choose them more carefully.
been lying in bed for almost 2 hours now hoping to fall asleep. The sooner I sleep the sooner I can wake up and eat eat eat!!!!
STARVING TODAY (might have something to do with having over DOUBLE my TDEE yesterday:-( )
