Fasting Thursday 18th July

Hello. Who is fasting today with me?

Yes...I'm in today.

Had a fail on Monday (Roast Duck) so going back to basics - plenty of water, teas. I will eat at dinner maybe mushroom omelette and cook something else for the OH and kids.

I think I have a sinus infection or head virus so I do find its easy fasting when you dont feel well.

Happy Thursday everyone!

Hi I'm too. Grocery shopping this morning and bought some zero noodles. Not sure if I'm game to serve them to hubby tonight might try them myself first.
Pretty warm for a winter day even opened a window or two.

I am back onto fasting after 1 weeks complete break. Feeling a bit rusty and reluctant as was having an unrestrained holiday which did include 2 Chinese banquets. So I have work to do, not much but it is interesting to find my way back to 5:2+16:8 with odd wey hey weekend.

Invested in the fast diet recipe book while waiting for flight home. Wish me luck on my catch up as I too wish you all a good fast today

Yep, count me in for today! Going well so far - I planned the exact menu I had on Monday (my first fast), as I still had all the same stuff on hand and was feeling a bit uninspired when planning last night.
Busy day at work meant I actually cruised straight past breakfast, so I am now really happy about having a slightly more substantial dinner. Also hoping I might be able to work my way towards routinely having almost all of my 500 for a decent dinner, as I have seen a lot of people do.
It will be interesting tonight when my boyfriend and I go to the movies and I have to watch him eat his customary choc top ice cream...!

I'm in. My head feels a bit skittish from no food today. It's 3pm, so far I've had a skinny latte, miso soup, a cup of tea, lots of water. Looking forward to sausages and salad tonight.

It's my second ever fasting day. As the day goes on I'm finding it harder to deal with the hunger. (Is it hunger or just cravings??) Oh well, I love food so much I never expected it would be easy!

Good to have company fasting today. This is my 6th fast day (week 3). I'm saving all my 500 calories toward dinner - planning to stirfry some zero noodles and have some canned soup and fruit.

For me, headaches seem to be triggered off by dehydration. Sipping lots of tea - green and peppermint. Not hungry at all after my yoga class. So far so good! I find having just one meal in the evening works better for me. If I eat breakfast or lunch, I get ravenous.

Happy fasting, everyone!

Yep, I'm in today. Third fast of the week and then off tomorrow on proper holidays. Should be a busy day which will help. Nothing to eat until main meal tonight.
Hope everyone has a good fast day.

i'm in too. I do seem to be struggling in this hot weather as I'm already obsessing about getting through the day after a hard day on Tuesday. I've just updated my tracker to give me some extra motivation, it's so nice to see that downward line and to know I can indulge at the bbq I'm going to on Saturday :)

Hiya

I am fasting today and it's my first day ever! I started the day with a 600ml bottle of water and then for brekki I had a coffee with half the semi-skimmed milk and with half a sugar. For lunch I had the white of a boiled egg on 1 lite cruskit. I have 441cals left for dinner. I really don't want to change the way my hubby cooks so hope he has something that's not so calorific tonight

I generally try and go to the gym 4 days a week.. has anyone exercised on their fast days?

Cheers
Teee

I’m in today as well, need to get back on track as I have seemed to have lost the way lately and need to lose the rest of the pounds. Has anyone tried the Saints and Slimmer’s 5:2 programme? been thinking about it as I have 3 weeks of holiday coming up and struggle when at home to contol the snacking.

Diets shakes and meal replacement bars today, just over 600 cals in total. No ice cold glass of wine tonight in the garden.

Good luck all enjoy your day
