Well? My little buddies! I'm here and I'm "in the zone"!! Despite weighing myself this morning and not enjoying the view, I feel positive that I can really get back into this thing. I'm going to try fasting twice a week for a bit, just to get back into it properly. I'll do 16:8 on the other days and try and cut out all the rubbish that I've bean eating lately. What WAS I thinking?
Although I can't do an aerobics class (SO wish I could) I will take the girls out for a walk today and I am hoping to do some yoga too! Its all go...but hopefully its going in the right direction
Good luck you two. Are you both fasting today?

I knew it would be alright in the end bean.
Now if you find it hard don't just cave in and declare a failed fast. Just keep the cals low. Slowly does it. Yeah! Then don't swap for tomorrow either just keep with the plan of two days.
I'm sipping my Ainsley harriott low cal cuppa soup right now. You don't have to go all day without food to lose weight.

How many cals in that there cuppa soup?
Well I haven't caved in yet. I've kept myself occupied (which always helps). I've just got back from a 40 min walk with the girls and feel completely drained. Don't think I'll be able to do the yoga I wanted...but the day is still young (sadly). I'm currently working my way through Brideshead Revisited. Not literally, its a book I'm reading!
Do you feel satisfied after your cuppa soup Oatsey? Will you be working out tonight?
So many questions...

Bless you Candy. I've got a good feeling about this drug you're trying. I also like the idea that it helps with an under active thyroid. Does that mean it'll speed up your metabolism too? ;)
What aspect of your ME do you really hope it helps? Did you say it helps with sleep?
How have you guys managed with fasting today? How was that cuppa soup Oatsey? I bet you're probably working out now aren't you! :0
I'm pleased with myself. I feel right back in the zone but I must say I am rather looking forward to my Cajun jambalaya! I'm leaving it for as long as I can, though, so it isn't gone too soon ;)

Wow this place is oozing positivity today.
Keep it up bean. And candy I hope this all works out well for you.
I need to pop to the docs. Got a swollen cheek/neck, in the morning it's horrendous then it goes down a bit during the day. Plus my glands are up. Being the inquisitive so and so that I am I've looked it up on T'internet.
Either viral, tooth abscess, wisdom teeth, salivary gland, parotid gland. Ooooh Erhhhh. We shall see.

Have you got any pain with it Oatesy? Hmm I wonder what it is. Strange that it reduces during the day and returns during the morning. Let us know how you get on.
I woke up really pleased with myself today. I managed to do a fast yesterday with relative ease! Plus I only had no more than 400 calories! Today I'm doing 16:8 so I haven't even had breakfast yet! I feel so good!
Any more exercising tonight?
Happy Bean

Hi candy. Yes I'm well proud of our dear Bean too.,

Lauren is fine thanks. She's too busy beautifying herself before school to even remeber to moan about it these days,
I'm ok. My mum is moaning at me. It keeps going down when I plan to go to docs. Prob is I know too much that's not always a great combo when you're ill.

You better get it checked out Oatesy. They'll probably give you something that will get rid of it in just a few days and you'll wonder why you didn't go earlier
Feeling pretty rough today. All my limbs feel like lead. Don't think I'll be doing any work today. In fact I've spent much of today in front of the tv. I'm sure its not good for my brain muscles!
What kind of a day have you two had? Ready for your fast tomorrow Oatesy?

Morning good luck with your second fast bean.
Been to the docs and I've got salivary gland obstruction. Chewing should help this, pushing the fluid down through my pipes. But.....a very big but ......unfortunately yesterday I chewed through a load of toffee, on a fast day.......naughty naughty.
Re: Bean & Oates - Mad Eaters!
27 Nov 2014, 08:04
Get better soon Carie..
Re the toffee....if you fancied it and it helped,so be it..its rare for you not to complete a fast day.
We have to do what our salivary glands tell us to do! X
Happy Thursday Bean n Oates xx
