Ok so we need to go down the "tell me when you can" route, this isn't happening without you @Wendy Darling

I'm back and many, many pounds heavier!
I can do the 15th August but I agree with you, @carieoates, that we need @Wendy Darlingthere. I can't do Tuesdays but any other days should be fine. Just let me know and I'll be there!

Hello, how was the cruise.? I was thinking about you on the boat/ship,!
WD IS BEING A BIT VAGUE - ooh didn't mean to do all caps.
Will bet back to you all as MCL and I may be going to see wet wet wet at newmarket 15th now. Does everyone else fancy a bit of Marty Pello.

Thank you, @carieoates. I had a great time but brought back nine extra pounds! Not concerned as it will soon be gone. Not surprisingly, I'm fasting today! Spent today catching up with the washing and this forum. The ironing pile is growing by the minute!

Thanks for trying to co-ordinate the Cambridge Meet. It seems to be rather like herding cats for you, at present!

@carieoatesSorry I keep missing this thread. I've never worked out how to make something stand out so you can find it easily - I'm a bit slow with forums and stuff. Right I have to go to Wales on Friday 15th for the weekend. If it was just me going I would come to Cambridge first and go from there but I'm taking the boys so they can see their grandparents and I have to wait for them to finish work first. I'm really sorry about this but it is a nightmare organising trips to Wales as my sister works every other weekend and trying to fit around the boys' social lives during festival season is a bit tricky :) There are not many other days during the school hols that I am definitely booked up so if you are willing to try another one I'll see what I can do. xx

No probs @LouLou51 we have put it on hold for now as @Wendy Darling is also away, as time moves on I am also getting booked up.
I know @StowgateResidentis also away with family.

Good idea to postpone, @carieoates. September would be good, before the undergrads return but while the weather is still reasonable, although I am back in England after Monday, 28th July and am free any day except the first three Tuesdays in every month. There has been no fasting for me this week, so I will have to make sure that I get back to it when I return!

I'd rather like to potter along: i) if that's practical; ii) acceptable; iii) it's on my train route :)
Are you still considering a picnic and punt, thinking it will be a warm October or are there cold/wet weather options?
