Well so far this year I've had 72.8 - 69.8 and back to today's 71.7 kgs. Feels like a lot of see-sawing through the first quarter but evidently no progress. Has my body gone into maintenance and forgotten to tell me?
Frustrating.
I feel I ought to continue as there's the health benefits of fasting to consider ...
Ho hum lack-a-day whatever will come will be okay :0/

Ooooh just drunk a mug of finest no sugar added cocoa powder. Like drinking 90% chocolate. Had to add 1.5 teaspoons of sugar to OH's for him to drink it! I loved it as it came. Wonderful :0)

I am sitting here in my running clothes looking out the window at mist and drizzle should I be a brave mouse and just go for my run anyway or wait till 1pm to see if the weather will get any better. The catch is it may get worse. DH and I were building kitchen units all day yesterday for the utility room we only built two and a half we had a wee laugh to ourselves the last time we built kitchen units we managed five in an evening after a days work, age does creep up on you even when you think it isn't.

@Nessie well done! think its pretty goodgoing to be prepared to have a run after building units all day yesterday!
I know what you mean tho..i used to love the long summer evenings, coz after being in work til 5 pm, the light evening felt like almost having another whole day to be busy in /
Have fun in..and on the winter nights,i wd go to an evening class or two after a day in work..at the time, we didnt give it a thought did we,just took it for granted!

No end to the senior moments it seems
Had a birthday card for a neighbour..on the way out to put it thru his lettbox i stuck the card under my arm while washing my hands
Then spent five minutes searching everywhere for said card, til i realised it had been clutched firmly under my arm all along.. ..Gah!  :frown:

Just had to share my good news that I have finally managed to get under 13 stone
It's been a hard slog since last Christmas but I have finally been using my exercise bike during the week for two weeks & have lost 1 & 1/2 lbs :like: :like: I know it doesn't sound much but it's a higher weight loss for me & I'm now going to try & reach 12 & 1/2 stone by the end of April. My interim goal is 12 stone so who knows by the time I go to Tenerife on 26th May I might have got there
It has been such a psychological hurdle getting below 13 stone & if I get to 12 stone 12 lbs I will also have finally lost 3 stone since I started trying to lose weight after Christmas 2012! That will be 42 pounds lost since then!

Hi Ladies
May I join your sanctuary? I signed up yesterday, and I'm 66 so I think I'm eligible and as I have 2 dogs as well, I thought I'd be right at home here!
I get very frustrated at times with the things I can't do so easily that I once did. I'm quite fit and can walk and even jog slowly, but I have a real problem with stairs. I'm hoping that as I lose weight they'll become easier for me.
I've got 3 grandchildren who are 11, 8, and 5 who I love dearly, but like most grandparents, I think, I love it when they visit but do enjoy the peace and quiet when they go!
I'm looking forward to getting to know you all better and will really depend on you for support, I'm sure!
