WEIGHT LOSS STUCK

Hi, I have been following the Fast Diet now for just over three weeks, and have completed 7 fast days. In the first week I lost 4lbs which was fabulous. However, I have not lost anything since. In fact, the second week I gained 2bls, lost 1 in the third week and stayed the same today. Can anybody shed any light on this for me? I am trying not to be disheartened, but it would be nice to lose something each week. I started at 9st 12lb and now weigh 9st 8lb. I am 5'4 1/2" tall. Thank you :)

Four pounds in three weeks is great, in my opinion. I think home scales are not always totally accurate. While you want to see a downward trend, there is so much that could affect them in either direction. I honestly wouldn't necessarily fret about each individual reading. Some people only weigh themselves once a month. I aim for once a week, but sometimes it's less often than that.

Perhaps someone more helpful than I am has more insight as well.

Thank you both very much, and I did read the FAQ post after I had posted my thread which was hooooogely helpful. I now feel fully re-inspired and focused. Come on you fast days :)

Keep with it - I lost the first week, then nothing weeks 2 & 3, then another loss wk 4. Don't forget to measure your waist as you maybe losing inches even if the weight loss isn't immediate. And don't give up, it is worth it!

Just to update all who followed this post. I dropped down to 9st 5lb this morning (59.6kgs) - yay :) So thank you for the encouraging messages and informtion. Keep going those who get stuck.... :)
