August weight was 70.2kgs, waist was 36"
September weight is 69.6kgs, waist is 35.5"
Not a great loss of 0.6kgs and 0.5" but better than nothing!

Started: March 23; weight: 87.6 kg; waist, 93 cm
August 3: weight: 71.3kg; waist, 75cm
September 5: weight: 69.3kg; waist, 75cm

It's that little difficult to make measurements with my broken arm. And I was on a business trip for a lot of the month. I'm still pleased with my progress, though.

As for whether the results are reported, I leave that up to Caroline. I voted for yes because I tend to find this sort of thing motivating.

I knew this month would be poor as we had a two week holiday with no fasting. Happy to have lost anything at all and not surprised a bit went back on my tum!

I'm noticing greater efficiency on my cycling outings. I can climb hills faster. I've relaxed some on resistance training and, this month particularly, been much heavier with cardio exercise.

5:2 followed, mixed in with 16:8 the other days. It suits my appetite and makes me more mindful about what I am shovelling in because if I flip that hunger switch early on I will be rummaging all day. If I wait till lunchtime I can easily wait again till dinner. Am still really enjoying it but very slow weight loss. I am still weighing daily and using the True Weight app.

no waist or fat data etc available.

Hi

I've had a good month, despite all the vacations!

Aug 3 175 lbs
Sept. 4 170 lbs

So a 5 lb loss! So happy!

My Sep. weight= 175 pounds

Start Weight in March= 195 pounds.

I had gained back 5 pounds due to really enjoying myself on vacation but then promptly lost it after 2 weeks so now I'm at an all time low!! WooHoo!

Love the 5:2 and think I can do this forever.

Plateau? I am still having a break, doing 16.8 most of the time.
End July weight 157lbs
6th Sept weight 157lbs
End July waist 34inches
6th Sept waist 34inches

now, if I had been trying to do this perfect synchronicity, I doubt I could have done a better job!

I've been really terrible about hitting these monthly weigh-ins. Mostly because summer is crazy around my house and was never online at the right time.

Today I am 154# and waist is 34". Down 1.5 inches in waist since May and 11 pounds since May.

It seems slow to think it's "only" 11 pounds since May - and yet I feel really good! :D The slowness doesn't discourage or disappoint me at all - this has been very sustainable for me. I'm more active now than I've been in years, and I'm fitting into jeans I haven't been able to get up past my bum since before my oldest son was born and he's 19 now!!

I thought I posted this before going to work but I must have forgotten to submit!

Starting weight Jan '13 - 10st 4lbs
Aug 2nd - 8st 9lbs
Sept 6th - 8st 6.5lbs

Just below my initial target weight now! Going to carry on a little further but don't want to lose too much more. Waist has stayed the same at 27 ins.
