I'm also on maintenance (3 months off regular 5:2). Aug 3: 126.6 lb.; Sept 6: 126.6 lb. Lowest weight for the month was 126.2; highest was 127.8 (I weigh daily)--it has been very consistent.

I am a bit upset about my weigh in this month - 2lb gain from last month. However, the holiday gain is less than it was when I first got home, so that's good, and I have enjoyed Jewish New Year food, so that's another reason.

Positive news - waist has gone down half an inch!

I hope next month will see a better result from me. Sorry to ruin all the stats, and thank you Caroline for all your work on this every month.

3 kg lost since I got back from my hols, and 2 cm from my waist and 2.3% drop in fat. V happy about that. I've been doing 16.8 all summer and am impressed that I've still lost weight.

Thanks for this Caroline and congrats to you ... good losses there

My nitial weight at start was 87.70kgs and waist 94cms
August. weight 76.7 kgs waist at 80 cms
September Weight 75.8kgs. Waist 78.5cms

My goal initially was 75kg

I feel like I am very near where I want to be now to maintain. Only 100 gms to go for 12kg weight loss. I seem to have slipped into 6:1 with 3 x16:8 as a weekly regime this past fortnight and I have still maintained this is even while being more sedentary with studying and eating heaps with my visitors. Loving the flexibility still

Well, I'm getting close to my goal (about 2 lbs. away) although I think I may go 2 or 3 lbs. below to give me some wiggle room. So, here goes:
Began
26 Mar, 2013-----158lb / 71.67kg---waist 32in / 81.28cm---bmi 26.98
07 Aug, 2013-----142lb / 64.93kg---waist 29.5in/ 74.93cm
07 Sept, 2013----139lb / 63.49kg---waist 29.5in/ 74.93cm--bmi 23.73
Aug. to Sept- DOWN 3lb / kg 1.44kg
To date: DOWN 19lb/ 8.18 kg----DOWN waist 2.5in/ 6.35cm--bmi DOWN 3.25

I do think that one of the greatest strengths of 5:2 will be statistics related to the degree to which we are able to maintain our weight loss (within a reasonable range, say 7 lbs. either way, over an extended period of time--hopefully many years. There undoubtedly may be faster ways to lose weight, but I would bet there are few (if any) better ways to keep it off over the long haul. 5:2 forever! :victory:

In maintenance, aiming at 135 lbs...

August 4th - 134.2 lbs on scales, 135.1 trend weight on Libra
Sept 8th - 132.8 lbs on scales, 133.9 on Libra, so 1.2 lbs lost is what I claim.

August was a strange month with a broken wrist and a week in Malta with hotel breakfasts. Not much running, no biking or climbing - feel that I have lost lean tissue despite eating very well and having cooked breakfasts now most days.
Wrist needs a bit of care for another month but out of cast now, resuming cycling today, ran OK yesterday, need to start visiting gym perhaps?
