I think you've ruffled the good dcotors feathers a bit Moogie. Good on yer Gal! Lets face it, they aren't going to want to come on here and compete with our excellent nerds are they? Ithink they are seeing the error of their ways and realising the opportunity they missed by actively encouraging you to set up an independant forum. Well I for one felt let down by their site. They were happy to take our cash for the books but then didn't want to give any personal input. They may well find they've missed the boat now.
With Dr Mosley's and Mimi's dry as unbuttered toast personalities I'm sure it will really take off....
I can't speak for Dr M, with whom I've had next to no contact but Mimi seems lovely. I'm sure if she's got time to be part of whatever community they set up she'll be pleasant to chat with :)

I'm not sure if either of them realise though just how much involvement is needed in a community like this. It feels like a second job for me now, and while I shan't be taking my work-work with me when I go away in a couple of weeks, I'll certainly be checking in on this place daily to ensure it's all running smoothly!
This place is stuck with me too, can't see why on earth I would want to leave such a friendly, supportive & experienced community with excellent moderating :)

It's a shame they feel a need to set up independently but I think the chances of them catching up with our numbers are slimmer than most of us even wish to be
Mimi's print personality just doesn't do it for me I'm afraid and although I loved the Horizon special and find Dr Mosley's other specials fascinating, his answers on the official site I find quite harsh.

I also am not keen on people who encourage something when convenient, this forum, and then never answer to posters who speak of this forum. Not a style I like at all.

My opinion of course :)
Ouch TML - just looked at your comment! Moogie - so nice of you to offer them tips for the official forum!
I didn't even know that Dr M had a website so I don't know who the other lady is, just had a look and it doesn't give much info on the actual diet - which is assume because they want you to buy the book.
I will be staying put, didn't need the book as I had this forum with has a big bonus of supportive lovely people from all around the world :)
Am I bad or am I too bad?
Honestly, I can't even find their forum.

Your not bad, just AWESOME!!
Nice one, TML! :like:

But, whereabouts was Moogie's post? Couldn't see it on the linked page.

I'm another who's going nowhere!
I'm staying here too. Lots of support and good advice. I think there needs to be a health warning added though as this forum is addictive!!
I am so very grateful to Moogie and the other moderators on this forum, as well as the other members. It is a very welcoming and supportive place to be.
