Hi Roscoe! Glad to read that you continue to do well. My own weight has been reasonably stable - nearly 6 years (!) next month ("time flies like an arrow, fruit flies like bananas..."). As you've recognized from your own experience, fasting is an easy way to keep weight in a reasonable ran...

Hello. I started 5:2 in November to see if I was able to maintain it. With a bit of a break at the end of December I have consistently lost 1lb a week, but the last 2 weeks, nothing.. I need to do some measurements. I’m determined not to loose sight of this plan as it’s the best ever been on (I’ve t...

Well, here we go again, after a weekend of indulgence. See if I get myself off this pesky plateau. Anyone else in? All the best.

Well, here we go again. I hope for some weight loss: the plateau I'm on seems to last forever. Yoghurt and salad today - we have very clement autumn weather. Any other fasters today? Anyway, have a good one.

Well, the subject line says it all. Soup and yoghurt as usual, hope to fast myself off the plateau on which I seem to be stuck. Time will tell. Have a great weekend, all of you.

Here we go again, in spite of the dreaded although anticipated plateau. Yoghurt and soup, I am determined to fast myself through this plateau, even though it will take some time and frustration. Anyone else in? All the best.

Thanks, the yoghurt-soup formula works, although I now seem to have reached a plateau. Anyway, the thing is to persevere. Another fast tomorrow, we'll see what the effect is. Great Sunday everyone.

Got an 1100 watt, over-the-range LG microwave for ya, Roscoe! Works perfectly except that I'm tired of repairing the crumbling plastic around the handle. Three times is enough! The replacement arrives Friday. Toasty here too, with up to 2", 1/10th pound (5cm, 47 grams!) hail the other day. Too ...

June 22, 2018 weight this morning 162.5 BP 120/85 Another plateau, maybe not but it seems like it. I fasted yesterday all day so I can get on down to 160. One thing I've learned from all this is, contrary to what I've always heard and believed, we can go without food or reduced food and still have p...

Hi ADFnFuel - thank you for taking the time to read my thread and offer advice. (It's only about 50 posts, but over 1000 views!) I'm not really great at the all day fast thing, which is why I've switched to eating windows. This weekend we have off for our February break (I don't normally have those ...

Hey CB, Short of my scanning your 1,000+ posts, have you ever considered a zero-calorie fast day? Or a two day (fluids only) full fast? Since you've Friday, Monday, Tuesday off it'd be a thing to consider for say, a Friday-Saturday or a Sunday-Monday combination. A new "hurdle" like this m...

Thanks for your thanks Loz17 and cblasz ! Not good about your knee injury loz17, will appropriate exercise fix it or do you need other treatment? And perhaps take a break from fasting and other "dieting" - which you might be doing over Christmas anyway - as that can sometimes help move you...

Hi Sassy1. Thanks for running the challenge for everyone. One star (or none!) for me for my last post. Over-exercising led to knee injury flare-up and AD fasting eventually led to a long weight plateau which I can’t seem to break. Never mind. Onward and upward but best wishes to all. Have a lovely f...

Hi everyone! I am now on holiday and reliant on a mobile wifi device to connect to the Internet. It is very slow... Can't guarantee I will be able to check in every day (will of course also depend on how busy our days are) but will do my best. Glad you are joining us Matillian . Drinking mor...

Good to see you back Tracieknits , I assumed and hoped your absence was just due to you being busy. Good busy though! College/university searching in the U.S. (and the U.K.) seems to be quite a task. Though it looks quite fun (but I am solely basing this opinion on having watched Modern Family...!!)...
