A month into maintenance and I've succeeded in staying below my target weight (just) but my trend weight has increased slightly in the last week only by 100g but it coincides with me having dessert every evening last week, so not surprising. I am enjoying the strawberry season by having strawberries, meringues and cream for dessert. It seems that this is just enough to cause a small gain. I will have to be strict about limiting indulgences if I am to succeed in getting a bit of wriggle room before my summer holidays!

Caro@carorees is that about a quarter of a pound?
Hmm it's tricky isn't, specially given that strawbs with meringue and cream are such a low cal tho delicious treat, and also plenty of goodness in the strawbs and cream.
Maybe just have the strawbs with cream and swerve the meringues til yr holibobs? Where are you off to? X

Maintaining since Oct 2013, still doing 5:2 in it's original form. I occasionally miss a day due to circumstances such as vacation etc. Feeling well over all and dont see a reason to change. I do sometimes get wild swings in my weigh-in. I see weights anywhere from 168-177 Pounds. I especially see a drop on Sat morning after running and having had 2 fast days during the week. But it always levels out. Good luck to all new maintainers !!!
Well after the gradual gain I did one day of 19:5 and low carb and got an immediate drop so am now trending at 100g lower than before, so all is good!
3 fasts this month to waiste some holiday gain and some world cup snacks. Still some snacking ahead, but that's something that can be allowed en enjoyed by fasting
I've been meaning to check in here for ages but always leave it until nearly the end of each month so put it off until the next month - then forget. Well here I am this time, near the end of the month again....
I reached my goal of 9 st 7 lb last July and I've been maintaining on and off since then. I've stayed below 9 st 9 lb since June 26th 2013, that's a whole year!
I hardly ever fast now, I weigh most mornings and when I get over 9 st 8 lb I cut down on the goodies - yes I still eat far too many bad things, chocolate, biscuits, peanuts etc. I still haven't got my eating under control, I'm a comfort eater and when I'm stressed I reach for the naughty stuff. I always go over my TDEE but it rarely makes a difference to my weight, I can never understand why. I use the scales as a sort of control, if I didn't I think I would soon put the weight back on.
Some day I hope to start 5:2 again and try to get down to 9 st but I haven't got the willpower for that yet.

I'm really pleased I've managed my first month maintaining. Mostly 16:8 ish which is working fine as long as I keep up my walking. I am trying couch to 5k ... Not sure whether I'll manage that so well !
@mrstee, congrats to you and it is time to start a new month's maintenance thread - which I will do
