I'm in today too...much needed after a few days away. Hmm, it seems that I'm on my annual late winter steady INCREASE in weight!
Hope everyone has a good day :clover:

I too have done your trick @Wineoclock , but TWICE... once at the age of 18 in my mums car, backing out of the drive I hit the iron gate which was swung out of the way to the side! I was too focused on a new boyfriend in the passenger seat. The other time was backing into the driveway of a country cottage we had a few years ago... I'd backed all the way down the lane as usual, then hit the end of the wooden gate which was back against the wall. Grr. It's very annoying, but you are not the only numpty, and at least nobody was hurt. "It's only a bit of tin." was said to me by a car repair man once.
I'm in today for my usual Monday fast. The schools are off for the next three days so the girls are at home. One has the boyfriend coming round at 11am the other probably won't be out of bed until lunch time. I've had a migraine coming and going since Friday and it is definitely back this morning so just a bit of housework for me today and taking it easy.
Hope your migraine quickly gets better wildmissus!
I'm in today. Much needed after a weekend away and we are in London this coming weekend for birthday celebrations. Only 6 weeks until our river cruise from Prague to Berlin and must really knuckle down as planned holiday wardrobe is a little snug
I'm fasting today starting to feel a bit peckish now but I'll give it another hour and then I'll have some carrot and coriander soup to keep me going.
Good luck everyone :like:
I'm in today. Pilates this morning, followed by some food shopping and then home for another mug of black tea. I'm not really feeling like fasting today but its got to be done! This weight will be maintained!
How exciting to be gong on a river cruise, @SkinnyJeans! Have you been on one before? I've seen the adverts on the TV and, when I've investigated, they seem to be more expensive than a Cunard cruise but I think that I would like to try one. Good luck on losing some of your weight before you go - at least you have a wonderful incentive and a couple of months is plenty of time!
Stay strong everyone fasting today. Onwards and downwards!
I'm in for my normal Monday fast today. As usual, I need it after a weekend of too much sitting and snacking. :frown:
Went to boot camp this morning despite it being -3F.....I think that is -19C? Anyway.......cold as a bugger! I was tempted to just skip it, but the cold weather is not going to break anytime soon, so I just put on my big girl panties(fur lined!) and got on with it!

Hope you all enjoy your fasting day!
I'm in today. Our weather continues to trap us in the house and my weight continues to creep back up even with fasts.

Fooey!
It's Monday... So I'm in after my carb binging over the weekend and fried chicken and chips on Friday.
I think I might be struggling today... Since my Reformer Pilates class at lunch, all I can think of is food, plus I'm feeling the cold.
That was a test of endurance, I just had to witness my son eat a large piece of chocolate cake topped with ganach and strawberries
Whilst i had a black coffee  that will teach me to go shopping on a fast day!
I'm checking in for the day! On a exciting note.. on Saterday we were so busy that I forget to eat till 3 in the afternoon! And I felt fine! I hope this a sign of good things to come

Thanks StowgateResident. We are going with Viking River Cruises and have treated ourselves to a suite, so it is a bit expensive. Never tried it before but my sister and BIL took a cruise with Viking last year and said it was excellent, so I have high expectations. Also the food is supposed to be terrific so even more incentive to shift a few pounds now if I am not to burst the zips on all my outfits halfway through the holiday
I enjoyed tonight's minestrone and salad. As per usual, both the minestrone and salad were good opportunities to use up odds and ends of vegetables in a useful way. I had some leftover salmon pate that was a good salad dressing when mixed with some yoghurt.

I'm using up a mass of fruit and nuts by baking fruit cakes (Anne Marie Boerman's Keep Cake; Konditor and Cook's Figgy Loaf; Dan Lepard's Hazelnut & Plum Cake and Dundee Cake) over the next few days. The house is rich with the scent of macerating fruit and toasted nuts so it's probably helpful that I'm used to ignoring it as I always think these things need time to mature properly (particularly as most of them are intended to be served with cheese).

I'm off to bed quite soon - so :clover: best wishes to those with many more hours to go for today's fast.
I'm fasting today. I'm also sick (remnants of a cold) so getting thru my day with lots of water and herbal tea to stay hydrated. Not very hungry so it's an easy day so far. :clover:
I've been in today. Have been feeling a little guilty, as we are having beautiful weather here in Seattle, while the east part of the country is buried in feet of snow! In fact, today the official high was 59F, which broke the day's record high. I've been skating every day for the last 3 days; a total of about 20 miles. And I went to my first Freeform Dance Meetup on Saturday morning, we dance our asses off for 75 minutes, lots of fun but hard work too!
