Hello everybody

Quiet here this morning - as it's Monday I am fasting as usual.

It's going to be a good day.

Cheers
Maggie.
Hi Maggiee, I am fasting with you. Its a cloudy day with light rain on and off here in the lower Blue Mountains. Dinner's already made, just has to be baked tonight- a frittata with baked pumpkin, spinach and ricotta. Feeling very blessed after a wonderful weekend. On Saturday night I had 3 school friends over for a 'sleep over' and it was wonderful. We worked out that by the end of the year that its been 30 years since we left school. Amazingly 7 of us are still great friends and see each other probably 5 times a year.

Hiya Maggie & Julianna - I'm in with you guys!

After a lazy rainy weekend, it's time for a rest from eating. So, coffee, green tea and water til my afternoon miso. No dinner plan yet...we'll see what happens when I get home...but my tum is already complaining just thinking about it! Guess I'll get back to work and stop thinking food!

May the fast be with you!
I've decided to give Mondays and Thursday a go and at 11.20am Perth time I am feeling like it's going to be a long day.

I packed a light lunch but would rather a more substantial dinner so am contemplating popping it in the fridge until tomorrow and toughing out the long afternoon ahead. Decisions decisions!

Btw. Can any of the Australian posters let me know if they have found any instant miso that doesn't include Bonito?

How are you all doing so far today PeonyBlue, Maggie & Julianna?
It's only 6.36am here, your Southern Hemisphere dinners sound tempting already!
Well, I should be in today, but............I had an extra glass of wine with yesterday's roast, so I'm not feeling quite the full shilling this morning! I'll have to see how it goes.
Good luck everyone :clover:
Hello and good luck everyone, I've got an oxo cube to take to work with me then I'm having veg ratatouille with stir fried prawns for dinner.
Sounds yummy Oatesy!
@Golarne I think that sounds like the perfect opportunity to fast doesn't it? Just drink plenty of water ;)
I was so pleased with myself yesterday because I didn't eat any Cheerios in the end. So I only had aroun 380-400 calories. Think I might enjoy a bit of food today.
Good luck merry Monday fasters!
I'm back today after a few weeks off. :( Just couldn't get in the zone.
Anyway I'm in today after a weekend of food and work.
Wet and wild here. Lots of coffee I think today to get through and eggs for tea.
Have a good one everyone. X
Huh, you might very well say that @nursebean but I've been awake nearly two hours, my tummy is rumbling and I'm craving carbs, or anything!  :starving:
I go to a creative writing class this morning, which keeps me occupied, but the cafe is in the room below ours and the aroma is tantalising!
Posting a bit late here, but had lunch today and won't have any problems getting through to tomorrow now on just a small bit of sugar free jelly for dinner!
Morning all I'm in and boy do I need to fast !
Have had an incredibly foody few days due to celebrations for hubbys 50th and am expecting the worst when I weigh in tomorrow, at least 2-3 pounds on by the feel of it .. if its less I will eat my hat (as its a feed day !)

But he wont be 50 again and in the big scheme of things it wont be that bad , but if you hear a faint wailing sound at around 05:30 tomorrow UK time .. its going to be me
Oh dear @Golarne don't give in...be strong!! Take a large drink of water and all will be ok! Trust me
@Debs you seem to be heavily into sugar-free jelly at the moment. Its a great idea. Might get myself some. How few calories, or does it come calorie-free?
Good luck with the weigh-in @Redrobin I hope it won't be as bad as you suspect!
Right, better go get my room ready. The plumber is coming because there's a leak in my cupboard and the floor is soaked. I nearly said leek then. That would have bean interesting.
Be strong fasters...you can do it. Tomorrow you can munch
Bean
4.13pm and I've managed with a plum (34 calories) for breakfast, an 8th of a turnip (18 calories in total) each time I've felt a hunger pang, with the last piece being consumed as I type, and 100ml of light soy milk (40 calories) in my tea.

I've an apple (49 calories) for in the car leaving me 359 calories for dinner. It's not been easy but as long as I have an earlier than usual night I should make it through without going over.

How has your day been?
That is classic, an eighth of a turnip!!! Hope it was worth the calories!!
Bean, the sugar free jelly satisfies my sweet craving and feels as though it fills me up, I buy the granules and make it up but I think you can buy jelly pots over your way. Eating at lunchtime is definitely better for me.
I have an apple for later if I get desperate!
Good morning all. I'm here again to pledge my usual Monday fast. I'll be lunching today as I go straight from work to another meeting this evening and don't expect to be home till 9.30pm. A souper food soup, a protein pot and milk in my tea will bring me in somewhere around 450/500 cals. Oh and not forgetting the all important sparkling water. Happy fast day everyone :clover: I'll try pop in later during the day.
