Sorry i've not been online for a while but number 91 checking in! I've lost 2.5lbs since i last checked in! I now weigh 66.45kg. 1.45kg to go!! That's 4.76kg off in total! I've also dropped 1.5 inches from my waist! yippee!
Number 90 checking in. Heading down again finally! I did decide to withdraw from the Thanksgiving Club, as the only way I was going to lose 2 1/2 pounds in 6 days was by doing some crazy stuff not at all supported by the 5:2. And even then, maybe not...

However, I think 2 1/2 pounds by Christmas is still reasonable, even with Thanksgiving next week. And no, I'm not going to fast the day after (cause TG is on Thursday, my usual fast day). I remembered about this WOE being flexible and all that, and decided one fast day next week (Monday) is just fine, and I'll pick up again the following Monday.

So there you have it. The report from a semi-happy bunny.
So, @Juliana.Rivers, you should not expect to hear from me for two weeks, since I'm very definitely NOT weighing myself the morning after Thanksgiving. I don't pig out, and certainly won't this year, but it's still a larger meal than my norm.

And I just updated the tracker, which informs me that I'll be at goal around the 27th of December. Hope so!

I have achieved my Christmas club goal this morning. I did set it low for various reasons.
1. A long weekend away.
2. Operation on 4th dec.

So now I am thinking that I could set a new lower Christmas goal, but don't want to put extra pressure on myself. My cervix and womb will be removed so will be interesting to see how much they weigh!

Therefore I aim to lose another lb, and then hopefully maintain over Xmas given that I won't be as active for 6 weeks.
Good luck everyone, off to lunch today for my friends birthday. But 16.8 will take care of that.

Hey, @Carieoates, I just had to laugh! I had a complete hysterectomy in '07. Emergency, unplanned sort. Afterward I told the doc that the upside was that I would lose weight, since I didn't have all those organs anymore. He smiled and told me that they only weigh a few ounces total. Oh, well!
Number 91 again! Make that 2.5 inches off my waist! woohoo!!
@Sue Q 500gm is about a pound, so 250gm is about half a pound.

Well done Tracy! definitely dancing moment :like:

do you know how much youve lost since joining the club? just for the stats nut here.
No 9 reporting weight still stable but no new lower measurements ... The top I wore out to a function last night looked positively baggy since the recent time I wore it. So I am taking that as my inspiration and progress.

@chriso57 come over to my corner of the tent, the weight loss is slooooooowwwww but determination and the spirits high. Like I am no shining example except for being stubborn. Scales aren't the only measure. We can be in the range of a couple of kgs each day depends what you have consumed and you weigh yourself. Best of luck :clover:
THANKS everyone for posting on your Friday/Saturday.

Keep em coming. with WendyJane's 200g and my extra 100g i finally got cumulative loss for the tent troupe to just above 80kg. thats with only 1/2 recorded as some tent members must be out in the forest collecting wood for the fire tonight or something. lol i havent got everyone in there yet i dont think. that is you may have posted a siggie but i have missed it but im gonna do a thorough look soon by clicking on each members's profile and checking the siggies.

have a good weekend everyone. for me, after a solid fast and being able to hit the last Low figure of 70.1 kg meaning i have only 1.001 notch to go to get to the 60s, its free day so on the menu tonight is Nepalese Goat curry from my favourite food mag called Feast. followed by a repeat of a cake made of Pomegranate Molasses, spices, walnuts and dates.. made it last saturday and it was brilliant. would show you my pic but its blurry so this is what it roughly looked like, plus recipe. http://www.goodfood.com.au/good-food/co ... 2pn46.html

Ill fast again on Sunday to make up for it.

anyway thanks for so many positive posts. i think the positiveness is really contagious and i feel a good spirit in here. onwards and downwards to the Christmas bells we go.

Thanks for that Wendy. I'm a cup half full kinda person, so I'm looking for all the positives as usual. Apparently the contraceptive implant can make you gain a bit of weight, so there's another positive. We shall see....
Half a pound this week from me. Liking my new BMI no :like:
Finally, finally, I have lost some weight, I was beginning to think there was no point in trying to lose any more as I've been stuck since July!!
This week I was pretty sensible, 2 fast days, 2 16/8 days, and no baking and the result is -1kg200!!!!!!!

Thinking that I will make my target after all, phew! Now off to make a birthday cake for my husband :o
despite my going under my target weight earlier in the week today's weigh in showed I am in Plateauland. Hey ho. Better than putting weight on I guess lol x
No 22 checking in  Another half pound this week for me - wish it could be more, but hey ho at least it's a loss - 3lbs before Christmas to be in the 69ers club really isn't looking realistic, but we've still got a house move between now and then - so that might help out a bit who knows !! There's some good reports of losses both weight and waist wise on this thread - well done everyone

Hubby's back for the weekend (working away during the week at the moment) - so I'm off to organise him to help with some packing of boxes. Am going to cook him a very naughty none-5:2 brunch today (may join him with a bacon sarnie ......and I wonder why it's only half pound a week  ) Happy weekend to you all
I thought I would brighten up the Christmas club thread with some "food porn"

I made the cake i mentioned in the earlier post.. just waiting for the goat curry to come be ready (pressure cooked so it only took an hour!) ---yep its 9pm and youd think the woman can get dinner on the table by now.... oh well. worth the wait
