General 5:2 and Fasting Chat

9 posts Page 1 of 1
Mumsnet is hosting a live webchat with Mimi Spencer at 9pm (UK time) tonight: http://www.mumsnet.com/Talk/mumsnet_liv ... May-9-10pm
When I asked her a while back if she'd do something like that here, she ignored that part of my email :( Maybe now she'd be more open to the suggestion.
Did anyone catch this? It was past my bedtime due to thetime difference. I wanted to know Mimi really manages to keep her weight stable now with 6:1 as I'm still not convinced it works.
Edit: just found link on another thread so am off to read it now....
Well, I've read the chat. Mimi alwaqys said her BMI was down to 18.5 when she originally did the 5:2 but in the chat last night said it was now 20 so she must have put on some weight since being on 6:1 maintenance.
I read it too. It was a nice chat and she came across well but I don't think I learned anything new. I'm a bit jealous that they got her though!
Hi Susan,

You seem to be still losing on your maintenance routine - how far are you going?
Hi Pete, no definitely not losing, I haven't been lower than the weight on my tracker. In fact following quite a sociable week with too much wine I'm trying to lose a kilo to get below 57kg again. It is either the wine or extra muscle I've gained since upping my running.
I was smightly encouraged to find that Mimi didn't find it that easy to stick to a low heathly BMI either!
But what was she wearing ?
