See my photo? That's my little man, the love of my life, 2nd only to my beloved husband.

I love that horse so much, he is the most handsome giving, marvellous horse that I have ever owned. He's just turned 3 & later on this year he's going to be backed, and it's going to be ME.

Yes, you heard it ME ME ME for the first time now I am believing that, with my 8kg gone it's now possible - I WILL NOT let them creep back on, I WILL be the first person to share that moment with my boy.

So ...... .that's what keeps me on the straight and narrow ...... what about you?
Me too. I love my riding and want to get a young highland pony next year and back it myself. Can't do that at my current weight.
Remembering that tomorrow is just a normal day keeps me going when the tummy rumbles are threatening to drown out all other thoughts : )
I have this fantasy...
One day I will wear my size 8 skinny jeans (the rest of the outfit depends on the weather) and board a plane to London looking thin and fabulous. I don't know how, I just feel that as soon as I wear them (and be able to sit down and still breathe) everything will fall into place again (it's been a rough year, with many obstacles and bad moments).
My holiday to Portugal at the end of July and also knowing that tomorrow I can have that egg mayonnaise sandwich I was dreaming about today while fasting!!
@ TML13 size 8

What's wrong with 10
Nothing wrong with it, but my favourite pair is a size 8...
The fact that my weight is reducing! My avatar and his much younger lurcher companion are what keeps me exercising-Rain or shine I have no choice.
Knowing I can go out for fun at the weekend in a great outfit, pleased with how I look, while I can still eat and drink whatever I want. A double bonus
I want a photo of me with my family, in which I do not look embarrassingly obese. My 40th birthday photos are horrible. We have just had a family wedding - I was even bigger  I hate them. My daughters graduation is in a month - maybe by then I will look slightly less tubby. And on my 50th birthday in 3 years time, I want to be slim. For the first time since I had my first baby aged 23...

YAY!!! I'm not alone!!!
Well, I want to be healthy for my son. And I want to be thin for Paris. I won't make it for this year's trip, but I'm hoping that next year, when we land in the UK, I'll be a normal, healthy weight :-)
I've bought some size 14 dresses from eBay which will look nice once my belly has gone. But I don't want to get too hung up on how I look. A lot of this needs to be about how I *feel*.

When I was 20 stone and a size 24 it hurt my poor abused feet just to stand up :(

Utter devotion to calorie counting and three gym classes a day got me down to 12 stone 4lbs, but it was unsustainable (and miserable). Since then I've floated around the 14-15 stone mark. Last time I weighed myself, I was 13 stone 6lbs and size 16 is getting a little loose on me.

I want to have a healthy BMI and *maintain* a healthy BMI, not least because I can walk faster and no longer have feet that throb with pain. So it's partly vanity that's keeping me going but also thinking how much better this is for my health - which is why I'm restricting access to the scales and focusing instead on how I feel.
