@PennyForthem I'm a bit 'peed' off as I suggested the job needed doing, I didn't offer to do it. I'll be the 'butt' of everyone's jokes now. Only teasing, I'm sure a 'wee' dram will help.

By the way, I certainly live in the right place for kilted saugages - we prefer our's jumbo to wee willie winkies.

@Betsysgr8 and @Silverdarling, thanks for the help as the quantities for 50 birds are quite big. Any volunteers for roasting the nuts ? No pun intended, it's just that the walnuts in the stuffing are roasted

I had to look for stuffed goose recipes as I didn't know if it's possible to stuff them or not, and I find a lovely recipe "Roast Stuffed Goose with Prunes in Armagnac" I think that should do it

Roasting chestnuts on an open fire is my speciality, may I barge in too please (I'll try not to cough and sneeze on anyone)?

can I bring my two babies them, they are gorgeous Tilly and Rory,(see avatar lol,butter wouldn't melt) they will be no trouble at all... as long as they watered and fed, you wouldn't know they're there really...coz they do sleep a lot! oh and they have to go walkies frequently too...
