Its snowing Angie! Lets make a snowman!
carorees wrote: @pennyforthem I'll have a kahlua coffee please!

I marzipanned the Christmas cakes yesterday...Will be bodging the icing and throwing decorative stuff on them later this week.

Meanwhile, how many gallons of gravy and cranberry sauce will we need?

Enough to go with 50 birds @carorees. Do you think 20 gallons of gravy (I can't think in gallons any more, I'm a litres girl!) and 10 of cranberry will be enough? I'd hate for anyone to go without...

And BTW, what's a Kahlua coffee?

@PennyForthem Looks like me and @angie 090465have taken on any snow duties if needed
Should snow fall on Penny's Party Day,we'll clear snow as and where necessary, make hot choc drinks ( with a splash of brandy) to pass round, look after the snowmen and should it be icy, take care of the rink and hand out the skates...
Just watched 'Frozen'
will the snow duty team have an Olaf and Sven?

Great idea Janeg, why not!! ok with you Candice?  :like:
Oh my! Oh my! Oh my! The official panicer is panicking already there is soooo much to do and sooo much that could go wrong. oh dear dear dear I am starting to hyperventilate. I think a double whisky will calm me down a bit. I think I should bring my ice skates as well as that would make it easier to spin in ever decreasing circles
You are the most loony bunch of people I have ever come across on the web. In a good kind of way

Can't imagine what I could contribute to make the party even better
@Wolfie some may get cold in the snow, so a beautiful quilt to cover us all would be lovely! Can I put you down for that, please?

Calm down dear, its only Christmas. Here have a whiskey sour :drink:
Just counted that for 5 gooses I will need 750ml armagnac.... I love putting alcohol in my dishes

For the 55 birds (50 turkey and 5 gooses) I will need a truck of apples. Lucky me I know a place with a huge kitchen with 5 ovens in it. They will be handy

Then I'm in for some serious strip piecing if I will be able to put that one of. How many will it have to cover?
I never shied from some serious challenge
Well, Wolfie, as we won't all be in at the same time - and those 'down under' won't need it, I'd say a quilt big enough for 50 at a time.... is that Ok? Just to be on the safe side.... glad you've joined us in the loony bin... er sorry, virtual party!

We promise to look after your quilt and let you have it back when the last person leaves the party! Do tell us what colour it'll be, please.

For a moment there, @Manderley, I thought you'd written, 'I love putting alcohol in my mouth' and I thought, 'there's a girl after my own heart'!

Have organised the truckload of apples for you - can anyone help to peel them before the big day please?
