Sending you love and prayers to keep you strong. xx
You are just where you need to be, bedside vigils are a privilege, being there, present to support your mum. Having your your sister alongside will be precious too
Thinking of you @Sallyo and like PFT sending positive vibes across the ethers. Fasting can wait, eat when and what you can as it is an emotionally draining time and you need your energy to be topped up

Sallyo, I went through this with my dear Mum. Don't worry about fasting. Do what you have to to get through this. Hugs to you and your family.

oh Sally, thinking of you & sending you lots of love & hugs xxx Do remember you're allowed to take a break when it gets too much, these things have their own sweet timing & my dad felt it was the right time to go when I was out of the room for a moment or two, but I reckon that was his choice. Such intense times!
Thoughts, prayers and strength winging it's way to you from me

Take care and we're all here for you.
thank you everyone. It is lovely to feel held. My sister arrived this morning and my niece and they are doing the night shift tonight. My other sister arrives from Sydney tomorrow. My role will be to feed everyone. And ferry them back and forth between home and the nursing home. One of the hardest parts is not knowing how long it's going to go on for. Was it here that someone said, they kept a vigil for 10 days! It is a special privilege. I get that. And I have to share with my sisters. Pretty tired tonight.
Oh Sally, I am so sorry to hear your sad news - my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family
Hope you're all bearing up, Sally, at this tough time xx
