Re: CHATTERBOX CANDY!!

@rawkaren I'm glad you could be with OH at this worrying time.

My OH has had atrial fibrillation since his late fifties (now 81), takes coumadin and beta blockers with no adverse side effects. I take beta blockers almost 30 years now (to prevent migraine)--no bad side effects.

I don't know anything about weakness on the left side of the heart, though, so can't help there, I'm afraid.

Sending love and best wishes.

@candicemarie Bala hasn't changed a jot! Such a beautiful journey there in the sunshine. Came back a different way in a bit of cloud, but still in stunning scenery!
Any news, @rawkaren?
@debs sorry to hear about your friend. I hope they all get justice at last.

I'm just thinking @PennyForthem about those days out
My best friend's Dad used to borrow a car every summer - not many peep had cars then - and they would take me along too for days out in North Wales.
BFs Dad was a bit of a womaniser...used to nearly crash the car staring at any passing females while his wife huffed and tutted...
She had the last laugh..she's still alive and kicking and he's kicking up the daisies! X

I might pop along to the insomniacs' tent.
I have confronted the demons this evening and come out victorious - well, not exactly the demons, but my ex and his wife (my friend who ran away with said ex!) at my son's house, seeing the grandkids. Delighted to see she has put on weight (meeeooowwww....) whilst I have lost...
Anyway, much air kissing and simpers and I can't believe I've been so false.
The woman actually did me a favour relieving me of ex 20 years ago (tho' perhaps I didn't think that at the time...) and perhaps now is the time to let bygones be bygones.
So, here I am, finally having been with them and not wanting to throttle her - or him.
There's hope yet...

Well done on keeping yr cool@PennyForthem miss Moneypenny! :like:
Sometimes, being false is the only way to handle a situation, even if it doesnt sit well with you.
Sounds like yr ex and yr " friend" deserve each other! Its great that you could keep yr cool...
And it's the ultimate revenge..to be looking good and what is more even better...than the " enemy"!
I dont think you will need the insomniac tent..i think you will sleep like a lamb, happily snuggled in with Mr Penny the Second !

Oh yum wino - they look fab. I ate a Waitrose one yesterday and it tasted horrible (still ate it though). Can I have one of yours instead?

OH seemed to have a good night's sleep but then again I suspect I might have been completely out for the count given my bodyclock. Hoping he will stabilise enough for me to pop back next week for a week, and then I will come home for 3 weeks which should be enough time to get him fixed up. I also have a big project here, so the timing could work well......

Thanks everyone for your good wishes.

Happy to send you some Karen, not sure if they'll taste any good, I have to wait until tomorrow to find out.
Glad Hubs got some sleep, and you too.

Hoping all will be well for you and OH {{{+}}} rawkaren.
PFT, I know that feeling and you are the stronger for reaching beyond the hurt.
Let's all have a happy Thursday and, if fasting like me, a successful loss :0)
