Hi all, @sue.q, @daydreamer21, @gillymary and @jo05

Back last night from Singapore, what a trip! I hadn't really been OS ( if you don't count 4 days in Auckland for a conference!) in 4 years, and how amazing travelling is! Learnt heaps both about myself and my psychology studies and Anaesthetics, as well as cultures and last but not least, food! Still managed to fast reasonably frequently, but omg, 3 words only, Singaporean chilli crab!! And a fair bit of exercise, mostly from walking. Haven't weighed myself yet, but feeling pretty positive, we'll see. Off for a bike ride today, sooooo looking forward to it! Cool fresh outdoors, yum!!

Hope you're enjoying your holiday, Sue! And a great day for gardening, gillymary, can't wait to get into mine!

Sue, there is a Greek saying that goes "a person who is unwell and a person who is on the road has no sin".
Years ago I paraphrased it and it goes "a person who is unwell and a person who is on the road has no calories". I know it doesn't make sense in English but in Greek it means that if you eat away from home, the food will have no calories. So there!

I really hope that one day that whole carb-hunt will be proved an urban myth. I hate it to see people not eating pasta daily, LOL!

So do I! My mum confessed the other day that when she expects me to visit she sends my dad to the super market to get extra grated cheese because she knows that she will ask me what I want for dinner and I will say "pasta". And when I eat pasta, it looks like mount Everest. There's a mountain of pasta and then lots of snow on it (cheese).

Oh dear, courgettes instead of pasta... sounds like punishment to me!

Yesterday, my friends and I came up with the best revenge food: Cauliflower gratin with okra and sour milk. Eeeeeek...

Have a safe flight back home, Sue! Greece was proud to have you and will certainly miss you. Come back soon!!!
