I am still settling in

@Sue.Q how are you going there buddy glad you have all your bits back  Managed a decent fast yesterday so that was good. How about you. It is coming up to monthly weigh in , how time ffflies

@jools7 saw a rather wonderful physio yesterday who has given me some terrific stretches for my recalcitrant hip, so will have to be diligent with said stretches. I blame the HIT for starting my hip issues which still persist about 3 months later, though that might be a bit harsh.

:sleepy: :sleepy: must shut my eyes nitey nite

Glad things are settling down on the forum for you@sue.q, wish I could say the same, I'm still having an extremely bumpy ride. I'm limited to about 5 mins on, otherwise the succession of links that don't work, revolting ads, missing menus and boxes coming across the screen make my blood pressure rise too much. Feeling very discombobulated.

Glad you're got some good hip stretches, @gillymary, that should hopefully do the job for you!

Lol @gillymary My little hearts  is a smilie
My other is a smilie off my tablet in red font colour = + :like:
@jools7 No way are things settling down for me either it takes absolutely ages to login once in all is OK ish
But actually login is a double nightmare I've installed that add blocker app and with moogie removing what she can for now my adds aren't to bad.
Fasted today buddies making back2back again I'm OK doing these but neither turned out to be true 500 fasts will try again Thurs if I can get in!!

Another prob I've just touched something and now the search bar is in the way all across the screen, makes a change from the bright yellow banner I suppose
@Daydreamer21 Are you still onboard buddie

Hi buddies @gillymary @jools7 @daydreamer21
Hope you're all enjoying your weekend, we've all gone very quiet in our corner with the forum changes and for me login problems, forgot my weigh-in on Fri so I've now decided to leave it until the solstice weigh in because I messed up last weeks tracker and this still hasn't been put right so Sat looked like a gain.
I've upped my walking and enjoying getting out and about more, nothing much to report other than my mini online shop of 4 items I've kept only the 2 bras which surprisingly fitted so thats 2 bra sizes down than this time last year!!! Brilliant this is such a great feeling hopefully I won't have that "riding" up problem
again for a while.
Sammy seems to have gone AWOL but assume she's been off work and seeing Jammie this last week.
So what have you both been up to lately?
Hope the forum is becoming a little calmer for you Jools most of my adds have gone, the font size is good, can't see all pics yet but login is still very hit + miss once in all is fine but I don't like not logging off, did forget last night when visitors arrived.
I've got to go very cautiously for the next couple of weeks because I've a few meals coming up. :clover: :clover:

hi @sue.q,@gillymary and @daydreamer21, Glad to hear the walking is going well, Sue, I find it's just wonderful for my mood, even on a tough day, a walk with my little step-dog is a shining light. And good fitting sexy underwear is a basic human right I think! I have gone down from an (aussie) 22-24 to 18-20, so I'm over the moon. I just love buying bras online, Berlei (in Aus) even gives you postage-paid returns so it's pretty cool. Much better than those intimidating ladies in department stores who stare critically at your bosom over the top of their half-lunettes (I think I've mentioned them with revulsion before, please forgive the repeated trauma!!)

I am generally going well on fasting days, but tending to eat too much junk on replenish days - but thankfully doing better today - brazil nuts for brekkie, smoked salmon wraps for lunch with tomato and baby spinach. All for less than 35g of carbs so far. The brazil nuts were yummy, can't say I've eaten them before except in a chocolate bar - much nicer today than that! They came about because I'm finally admitting to myself that I'm losing a lot of hair just in the last couple of months (handfuls down the plughole, although it is pretty long, but starting to get a bigger part in my hair), and, reading a few threads about it, apparently brazil nuts contain a good dose of selenium, supposed to be good for hair. I'm also taking a biotin supplement, so I'll let you know how I go - the general gist seems to be that losing weight may cause a biotin deficiency, or to make you lose hair anyway - oh well, a price to pay I suppose. Luckily I've always had extremely thick hair until now, so there's plenty to go - shouldn't be so vain I suppose!! Weight is still zooming in on the 100 kg mark, but I'm not in a rush. It will be a big thing when it happens - a bit freaky I think. I am so frantic with my three professional hats that's keeping me out of mischief. I'm only coming on the forum on my laptop, it just doesn't work for me on my iphone, so that's really cutting down the amount of time I'm here, which is possibly a bit of a blessing in disguise, as I have an exam in a few weeks that I haven't really started studying for yet. Have only intermittently been doing HIIT, but I may try for some tomorrow I think, better to do it when fasting.

Spent yesterday and most of today (and $850 - ouch!) getting my sewer unblocked - now at least I've seen the length of it with the camera (a bit like when I give anaesthetics for colonoscopies, sorry for TMI), so I know where the likely problems will be next time. What fun! I never really appreciated sewerage until I didn't have it for a day. Don't think it was the hair that blocked the sewer, but I guess it could have contributed!

Hope we are all going well! love,
Jools

Lovely to come onto forum to messages on our thread. I am busy so that means time is a bit tight so to struggle to get on here just compounds. Anyway seem to have found a back door through the tracker and my login works straight away.

I am bit more randomly fasting now @Sue.Q maintaining but still do a fluid fast and a window each week. My hair loss rattled me a bit as like my hair to stay on my head and never had any problems before. Am on biotin as well as selenium, zinc and D&B &C also taking these supplements randomly now as hair seems to be behaving and staying on my head.

Still I love my fasting days, cooking healthy foods and fats. Keeping carbs low. Exercise is a bit out the window at present as seem to have done something to a rib. Am pacing myself but will be back to gym ASAP. Seem to be falling apart at times :frown:

As @jools7 relates I too can be very replenishing on non fast days but don't stray too far away or I snack a bit on a window day

May was a busy month so am hoping for a little less pressure in June and a more reasonable pace. One can but hope anyway. Happy fasting buddies. And then there were 3?!!

PS just saw Sammy had posted yoohoo@daydreamer21 oi over here we are missing you buddy

Hi ladies. Sorry I haven't been around for awhile- last week was half term for me and Jamie came down to visit so I was spending time with him. It didn't turn out to be such a great week, I turned to put something in the dishwasher and it threw out my back so badly I was pretty much housebound all week apart from one trip up the high road (which I had to be on crutches for just to manage) and I'm off work today because I'm still in so much pain. As a result of this I was on a lot of medication and I wasn't fasting at all last week. I managed to gain 4kg....I feel very disappointed but I know I can lose it again. Just frustrated I let myself gain so much in such a small amount of time.

So nice to hear from you Sammy but sorry about your problems and pain, medication does awful things to our bodies and minds so worry not about the gain sort that out once your pain is under control. @daydreamer21
Well kick our 4kg (each) into touch very soon :clover:
Take care of yourself for now you need repair time.

Hi fasting buddies @gillymary @Jools7 And @daydreamer21 Hope you're on the mend Sammy.
Well its plan B for me as I said I'd not get on the scales for a couple of weeks Carorees is calling us on Fri/Mon so I'm weighing in on my normal Friday full of hope after going lower carbs as we've got a couple of special meals out for family birthday's, feeling very good again for some reason the reduction put me back on a "high" makes me wonder why I up the carbs again when our bodies don't actually need them but I loath to drop any food group completely.
Report back on Friday morning. :clover: :clover: :clover:

Great news for you @Sue.Q about feeling good, you have been very persistent and positive so fingers and toes crossed for good results in your weigh-in. I am going to have to get a couple of fasts in over next few days as have not fitted any fasts for a bit. Missed my usual Monday. :sleepy:

Hi fasting buddies @gillymary@daydreamer21 @Jools7
Hope you're all doing well, how's the rib injury coming on gillymary? All on the mend I hope.
Sammy have you had to take all week off work?
Hopefully things are easing for you now..
Jools how's the step dog coming along? I always have a smile on my face when I ask ( for some strange reason) hope you've managed more walks than me I've had a busy week but only 3 small walks.
Forum wise I'm still struggling to get logged in, once in all is OK/ I think!! Because I thought I'd logged out this morning only to find myself not needing to log back in.
I've had a good week of lowish carbs and the scales were very kind to me, as I messed up my tracker 2 weeks ago and pmd moogie with no results
I've not updated at all until today I'm very pleased with my results but am still a little short of my pre holiday lowest weight maybe next week :clover:
Note to self must keep up the good work.
