Dear @daydreamer21, thanks so much. I hope its all going ok for you, I love the photo btw. I'm studying social work, study I've not done few a couple of decades. I will be getting stuck into the study tomorrow, which means I might be visiting here to reduce stress a bit.
apologies for slow replies, it's kinda the best I can do at the moment, with my sleep still poor.
best wishes

Hi @Jo05 Well it's Monday morning, so it's going as well as it can lol. Thank you so much! I feel completely different now, I don't even look like me anymore lol (which is great) Wow, what a great profession! I can imagine it's very tough though. Good luck with your return to studies though

We seem to becoming bit of a fasting fivesome, the more the merrier I say ..... @daydreamer21 how is your hair bit you are still chuffed you don't look to be the same person. @Sue.Q glad you had a nice night out and hope the next meal steak and red wine went down well as it sounded nice. How are you travelling as well? @jools7 it is good to write up a storm must get over to the mountaineering tent to have a good read as have been very busy lately and just dropping by for short times. @Jo05 nice to see you stoked up our tent, so do you have a long way to go with your study

Having a busy week ahead and have just come through some time where I was a bit distracted from the forum with life happenings but all has now settled down now. In reply about my hip it was going well but I really have to move more eg walking the dog and gym as I have been resting far too much. It is tweaking a bit but think if I move more it will feel better. We will see eh

Hope all is going well for you all buddies

Hello foursomers! Sorry I've been a bit absent, I had a very busy weekend of birthday stuff and study - my teacher comes down from the gold coast 5 times a year for a whole weekend of work shopping. But the upside is that I got to celebrate my birthday with 20 members of my community who gather from various corners - the downside to that is less raw vegan choccie cake per person!

Things are good, fasting going well, got a HIIT session in this arvo, scales are still being extremely kind ( I know others aren't always having that experience) I bought myself a new food processor for my birthday, it arrived today in a huge box - it's a Philips, which got some good reviews. Can't wait to try it out, my old one was leaking and just making a mess of slicing veges.

Sorry, gtg, my clients have just arrived for their evening Pilates session. Talk soon!

Hi @gillymary,
Oh my what a tent!! congrats on you and jools7 and whoever else. It's a lovely thing to support our voices, and that tent has a lovely depth about it. Hope I get there as much as i can. I'm in the second year of a 4 year part time program, compared to the distance I will be traveling with this fasting process it seems like nothing! I read your hip is tender. I hope it goes ok. Those hips can be really bossy and want to decide on everything. They don't like it much being push about. They seem to rule what I can do when they are playing up. I hope its improving.
@daydreamer21, thanks for the well wishes with my studies. Social work is awesome, I recommend it to anyone. I'm glad you're your welcoming your body changes. I think I think its important we remember to love ourselves at any size as well. Bodies are amazing and they do such a wonderful job most of the time. wiggles my toes to remember this body is a tired one. :)
waves to sue.q and Jools7, hopes you're both going well too.
xxx jo

 Good Morning fasting buddies
@gillymary @daydreamer21and @jools7 As I forgot to tag you all a few moments ago on the SSS thread I thought I'd just put you all in the picture a new week new month new plan well actually the old plan recycled, back to basics 5:2 no more back2back for a while my days are Mon then either Wed or Thurs depending on what I've got on in the week.
Yes feeling very positive today ( unlike Friday). Even the sun is shinning for us in the UK spring has sprung.
Plus our lovely Sammy what a fantastic avatar photo I can't believe the difference the " old " you was so lovely you must feel absolutely brilliant and so you should. Sue

@Sue.Q I am actually glad you are going back to 5:2, from my experience for some of us the more you fast doesn't mean the more weight you loose. I think there is another solution but don't know what it is yet obviously or I would go straight there. I do think exercise is a big key.

Anyway have to go to sleep am up early. Nighty night buddies :sleepy: :sleepy:

Bumping this up from the dim dark recesses of page 4 of active topics. We must all be having busy weeks. I certainly am as have hardly been on the forum. Still got a way to go before the busy settles. Having a lovely week though how about my buddies @daydreamer21 @Sue.Q @jools7

Will have to do my fasting over the weekend as I am keeping my energy up with food. Not getting to the gym either drat. Maybe tomorrow? My fastiversary is also looming which is amazing too. Have a lovely day gotta go

Yes, good morning, foursome & visitors! We don't want to languish on page 4! @gillymary, my goodness, when is your fastiversary? And how is your hip going? Glad you're having a good, if busy week.

@Daydreamer, just so love your new look! Your mother won't recognize you, which is a good thing! Good for you darling!

@Sue.q, good for you for getting back into the ol' 5/2 & walking, sounds like a good plan.

Yes I'm having a really busy week too, many changes of "hats", which I'm enjoying atm, but it can be tiring. Hopefully going to get in a swim this weekend down at my friend's place at Ocean Grove - I just need frequent salt water washes!

Happy fasting, everyone!

Morning @jools7@gillymaryand @Sue.Q

Sorry I have been quiet this week, work has been kicking my butt! We have parents' evening in 3 weeks and I have so much paperwork to do for it. I have pulled a late night every night this week, plus working through lunches and I'm going to have to bring it home to do on the weekend!! I would prefer to do it this weekend rather than next though as it's my birthday and I want to have a chilled weekend.

@jools7Thank you! It's still weird getting used to it but I absolutely love it, so many people have commented on how it suits me and how different I look. I feel like a different person! (which is a good thing, I didn't much like the person I used to be)

@Sue.Q How's 5:2 treating you?

@gillymary what's keeping you busy this week? Oooo a fastiversary! Exciting :like:

Fasting has been really tough this week with being stressed, over-worked and it being "that time" of the month, but I hit the scales this morning and I'm a new low!! I'm hoping (not too hopeful but still) to see 97kg on Saturday for my official weigh in. If not, well I'm sure I'll still have a loss judging by my trend this week. My eating on Tuesday was horrific mind you, lots of choc/pancakes/almonds.

Have a super weekend ladies if I don't get to post again before then!

Morning @jools7@Sue.Q and @gillymary I hope you are all well. I'm so glad today is Friday! It has been a bit of a chaotic week and stress levels have been high. As a direct result of this, I totally overate yesterday  I just couldn't stop myself, I was eating biscuits, chocolate, cake all the things I normally avoid. I don't know what was wrong with me, maybe it was just I need to have a blow out as I have been quite good for some time....Who knows. I felt very guilty last night for it so I'm grateful for fasting today. Hopefully this will reset me again and I'll be okay for the weekend.

Any plans for the weekend ladies? I'm going to spend it buried under a mound of paperwork :dazed: Have fun whatever you're doing!

 xxxx

Hi to buddies  @daydreamer21  @Sue.Q  @jools7 and visitors

@daydreamer21mmy upcoming weekend have to sacrifice a couple of regular activities to d a mountain of marking. It has been a major week for me too. Went to a fabulous 2 day workshop and it was one of those busy weeks where I had to be at 2 places at once a few times. Today I fasted until 7pm and might close the window in a short while s it will be 22/2 excepts for teas and water. So I just ambled with hair dresser appointment and some other pampering ... nice day with my agenda to just chill and relax. Never mind Sammy some times we need a blow out, especially when it s a busy week like yours sounds. Hope you get what you want done over w/e and hope I polish off all my paperwork as well

Am off t check out the threads have a good weekend
