I had a lovely clear view of it going over and fading into the Earth's shadow mid-heavens last night. Quite remarkable as two cosmonauts were working on the outside of it at the time! I waved of course.
Great stuff!
Last chance for a while - tonight at 2032.
Although it may be too light.

Feeling a bit remiss as I've been watching the ISS sail overhead for the past few nights in these clear skies - and i haven't resuscitated this thread!
However, it's around for the next few days, with some fantastic views over Southern England:
0105 this morning;
2240* tonight
0016 2151 and 2327* on the 10th
2238* on the 11th
2149* and 2326 on the 12th
*especially good view

Hope a few of you can catch a glimpse of this lovely bright light as it passes over!

Caught the 22:42 pass just now, which was visible all the way down to the eastern horizon - beautiful. There was the added bonus of an Iridium satellite flash just as the ISS was rising but at right-angles to its track, very bright and very brief...
Great stuff, Pete!
I never get to see the first 2-3 minutes of a pass, since there's a couple of blooming great trees in the way. Once it's cleared those, it's fine.

Thanks for posting this!! It looks like tonight will be a fantastic time for us to see it in upstate New York too
There is a European automated cargo vehicle on its way to the ISS, due to dock on 15th June. It will be visible, but much dimmer than the ISS, on the same track through the sky, tonight at 22:43 (ISS due 23:30) and tomorrow at 22:37 (ISS due 22:41). I don't think we get to see them converging, like we did with the shuttle a couple of times. These timings are for the midlands (UK), I use Heavens Above as my source (free with registration) and you can enter any number of locations as your home or holiday destination.
What does it look like? Was it just a white dot? I'm not sure if we saw it last night or not.
Yes, a bright yellow/white dot moving purposefully and silently from west to east, brightening as it gets higher and dimming as it gets towards the horizon again.
If it flashes or shows colours it is more likely an airplane (aeroplane)...

A good site to find when to look for it is: http://iss.astroviewer.net/observation.php
The ISS is back again for a week or two, and there's a lovely pass tonight, halfway (or higher) up the southern sky for anyone in S England. That is, from right to left, looking south.
Here's where it is now:

And this is the projected path, commencing at 2211 tonight:

For new readers, you need to put your location in - halfway down the right hand side bar.
Had a lovely view last night, and I'm expecting another one tonight!
Good luck!
Cheers, B&W

2 good sightings tonight - one through some scudding clouds and the other which disappeared over London.
More to come tomorrow!
More to come tomorrow!
My next predicted (excellent) sighting is tonight - if the clouds disperse I'll give it a go. Thanks
