Just popping in to say 'Hi'! I am really enjoying reading your adventures, Ballerina, and keeping up with what all the others on here are also up to! I hope that all of you that are away from home are having a brilliant time. It certainly sounds as if you are all making the most of it!
Oh Honeybee! What a fantastic link! I just woke up and as usual logged in to see what's up and OmG! I haven't laughed so much and so quickly, the tears are making it difficult to read more ..

THANK YOU!
I was just wondering...do you think they are all 'real' or just people writing a good story?

Either way, it's great fast day reading! Tightens the tummy from laughing and great diuretic from all the tears streaming down my face from laughing so hard.

I had no idea that the 'billiard ball' look was so desirable. You can tell I've led a sheltered life eh?

Eh the things you try when you're young and daft, there's another saying about the 'billiard ball look' as you put it

..... Prune the shrubs it makes the tree look taller :rotfl:
I made the silly mistake of letting hub read the link while sitting outside the caravan. Poor fella, he had tears pouring down his cheeks! He says that it sounds funnier to read about it than try it.

Then, a Dutchman drove his caravan into a tree. Hub and another guy were pushing the branches away with mops. Neither van nor tree badly damaged. We have a belgian shoe box parked behind us and a tent opposite with 2 very nice british gents.
We went to the American cemetary and the museum. All sad yet very brave and inspirational.

We have struggled around Carrefour in Bayeux and now have enough wine to last a month and plenty of goodies in the fridges.
Barbe tonight.....nom nom
Caroline, Like you I also thought the posts were written by one person but still hilarious nevertheless,,

Hi Pennyforthem, ooh a month's worth of wine, nice, enjoy it,x

Ballerina x

P.S. We are thinking that we might hit St Tropez tomorrow, so watch this space,xx
Pop....fizzzzzzzzzz... slurp......ah, Vouvray, you have been in the garage and fridge for 20 months, but resistance is futile.
Mmmmmm....... holds glass out for another.

OHMIGOD!!! Those reviews were shocking!!!
Wow what a shocker !!! But can think it a few men I'd like to give them Xmas gift good idea yeee ( ex bosses etc) :victory: Sue
Ballerina you are a babe !!!!

You look younger than me & I think I'm 15 years your junior

Chutneymaker, are you SURE bottles of fizz don't have a shelflife - mine NEVER last 20 months !!!
It sure did lead a charmed existance! However it 'drank' beautifully!
The sun is shining and we have no wind (the weather, not us!), so, instead of getting in the car and haring off, we are going to have a day by the pool. We are on holiday after all.
I have to say that I have eaten some very nice things in France and they have some lovely whole grain products in pouches, which have formed part of my life at home recently.
But, I have eaten a few dire things, too.
I always have at least one veggie day a week, so yesterday, I spotted a veggie burger in Carrefour. That in itself is unusual in France, so I bought it for the bbq. 166 calories worth of sawdust and gloop. It came with 'Indian' sauce, which was even more disgusting. The French don't sem to 'do' Indian and now I see why.
I have fallen in love with their frozen blocks of spinach and cream, though. Half a block each in a whole grain chicken risotto with chicken...nom nom!
I think we'll be forced to have another bbq tonight. See what I'm like? Always thinking about food.... nearly always.
Hope you're having fun in the sun Ballerina xx
Hi Wendy Darling, I bet I don't look younger than you at all, but thank you for the lovely complement, it's a mental thing you know, I'm mental! x

Hi Pennyforthem, (I will not be told what to do by a computer!) glad to see that you are all having a good time and that the weather is good. Being in a wind free zone is bliss.

I will be back later with an update as at the moment I don't trust the server to not throw out my post which is has done once already, so, hasta la vista, or something,

Ballerina x
I'm having a lovely day doing nothing except lounging in the sun and in the shade, reading.
However, we have all the roof vents open on the van and a bird has gone and poo pooed on our bed!
Sacre bleu.
