My OH likes a good strong Yorkshire Tea though I prefer Pukka tisanes.
:0)
@Manderley - I'm a PG Tips girl too - perhaps we could ship some over?

@Azureblue Unfortunately, Yorkshire tea are not available here. It's pretty difficult to find a decent black tea for everyday use. I drink about 5 cups a day so there's no use for fancy stuff and I hate fruity teas with a passion...

@MadcatladyIt would be great :heart:
I used to order some in a shop in Paris but the prices are over the top now - 80 teabags are 4.72 £ without the shipping (8.31 £ until 1kg ordered) so not worth it anymore. That's where I used to buy things I can't find here like baby oil, mustard powder, custard and, yes, even marmite. I don't like it but love to hate it. It's complicated  You can't imagine how thrilled I was when my supermarket began to sell proper cheddar, now every month I buy about 1 lbs and put it everywhere I can
A lovely sunny morning though 2*C, grandsons this afternoon, a world of possibilities
Keeping it real this happy Spring day.
 :like: :handshake:
What a simply spiffing Spring sunshiny day it's been here in good old Blighty.
Even the ironing seemed less of a chore :0)
Great news AB@azureblue Image
Pretty grey here today but i' m grateful for the many bright days we've had so far in 2015
and more than anything, for the lack of snow and ice! X
What a contrast! Back to cold clinging Winter in darkest grey today, awful.
Still, grandson-visiting soon will perk us up :0)
A question please for Aussie chums...
Calling on @sallyo@wineoclock@peonyblue@chinchin et al.and specially @maggiee coz youre from Melbourne...
I watch Real Housewives of Melbourne ( i love ALL the RH series, theyre my guilty pleasure!)
Anyways can any of you lovely Aussies tell me what " bogans" are?
The HWs keep referring to them and i havent a clue! Not heard the word before x :?:
PS anybodyn else a RHW of..fan? Think i like the OCs and Bev Hills best ....loved the Vancouvers, and really enjoying the Melbournes! The New Jerseys are the wildest! X
Hi @CandiceMarie - many years ago a Bogan would wear flanalette shirts, ugg boots, lots of make-up, swear, and be loud and generally be low income workers. But today's bogan can live an affluent lifestyle, be quite wealthy and hold a great job, and still swear, be loud wear lots of make-up, etc

Example being Jackie Gillies from The RH of Melb - listen to her voice.
We have a TV show here called Upper Middle Bogan, its quite funny. If you can have a look on the ABC website it will give you a good idea.
The US have rednecks and UK have chavs is as near as you can get.

I watched RH of Bev Hill in the past but no longer get to see it.
cheers,
Maggie xx
Thanks for that @maggiee!

I enjoy seeing some of yr lovely city x!
Morning @CandiceMarie, I am just having my wakeup coffee so I had to go to the online dictionary to make a sensible reply.

"an uncouth or unsophisticated person, regarded as being of low social status."
Ahh thank you @chinchin!
I dont know if you ever get to see RHW of Melbourne but theyre not vety nice about each other! X
Lovely city tho xx
you mean my description wasn't sensible?
I think there's a bit of bogan in all of us  @CandiceMarie I haven't watched the show, reminds me too much of some people I know!
Yes, @CandiceMarie, a bogan is a working class person. They have strong Australian accentsI don't know if you could say that all bogans are red necks, but red necks are certainly bogans.
