You sound like you've got it all under control Claire, so I'll just wish you good luck with your treatment and send you lots of virtual hugs. :hugleft: :hugright:

Wishing you all the best, Claireglen, just wanted to add my bit, I had breast cancer twice 13 and 10 years ago, lumpectomy and radiation the first time, then recurred and mastectomy. Absolutely fine now and so grateful it was caught early both times.

So many strong women on here (and men!) - just wanted to say that I admire your 'matter of fact' attitude and can only hope that it puts the cancer in its place and you are able to fight this until it's totally gone.

So many of us on here cancer survivors like me, and who have been drawn to this WOL for the health benefits.
Keep your chin up, and most of all do what your body tells you and don't beat yourself up.
Wishing you the smoothest of rides and a full recovery. X

Thank you to all of you & especially the 2 survivors. I haven't been on here since as been so busy but had to add small weight loss data in today. My results weren't great. Stage 3 and invasive fast growing & only just appeared. Not like what I was told originally. Am awaiting one final result which will determine if I've to have chemo. But still enjoying 5:2. It suits me. Feel better on it.

I opted to pay for Oncotype DX test in the US. Just had results back & I won't be having chemo. Worth every penny. I've stuck with 5:2 throughout so am feeling pleased with myself. About to start radiotherapy.

One day only left for a fast day as I start radiotherapy on Thurs and have been told to suspend 5:2 till the New Year. I will try not to overindulge. Don't wish to undo all my good work. Think I'll stick to fish & veg & salads on the days which would have normally been the fast days & yoghurt to keep myself in check.

Just echoing all the other good wishes on here - you sound like a very stoic person and I'm sure that must help when facing something like you're going through - hope you are fully well soon.
