Thanks for the support TML
I have to say you are are right about the scales
I weighed today after a really good fast and have lost 600 g which is a lot for me so now I have to see what happens on a nonfast day
So weighing myself will give me a bit of insight as to what ihas actually been happening over he past 6 weeks
Maybe I was loosing on fast days and gaining back on nonfast days
Maybe I wasn't loosing on fast days
Anyway, the next thing is to count calories
Yesterday ,a fast day,I counted and tried to keep it around 400 cals
Will keep you posted .

I also meant to say, I updated my tracker today. You can see the difference between plain 5:2 and my version of it (in the past 4 weeks).

You are right TML on more than one account
Weighing every day is good as I can see what's happening and guess what . i am loosing!
I couldn't do Dukan but I did eat only protein all day and then had meat and veggies for dinner
So I think I have learned that I need to weigh myself and I need to cut carbs and count calories
I have been fooling myself .i snack a lot on nonfast days, not on junk but bread and crackers and nuts.also I checked my TDEE and I should be eating less than 400 cals on fast days which I did this week
So hold thumbs that the weight loss holds and keeps going down
Thank you so much for your support.

Aw Sarah, you are most welcome! Wonderful news! Well done girl!!! :-)
Keep up the good work and you will be rewarded for sure!

BTW, it took me a lot of thinking and research before I made the decision to try Dukan's attack for 2 days. I read lots of sample menus and I found 4 things that I would happily eat. Perhaps you should consider doing that. If it's things you really like, then it won't feel like a diet. And, mind you, on my 3 non-fasting/non-Dukan days I eat LOTS of carbs!!!

TML I know the attack days are high protein days but does it have a # of grams recommended or max # of carbs allowed. I am a vegetarian so I would trying this with soy meats and they do have carbs that meat does not. Thanks!

Doey, to my knowledge no carbs at all, except for a TS of oat bran daily.
This is an example of a weekly menu: http://mydukandiet.com/dieting/example- ... phase.html
