Hi everyone!
Im fasting today have been on a weeks holiday but still done 2 fasting days (mon/wed),weighed on thursday lost another 1lb but didnt count that as a loss because went out for a meal and drinks so starting again today. Whats even better is my husband has decided to join me and fast also, he says he feels bloated so will join me,ideal easier to cook 1 meal rather than 2 different. Hope everyone has a good day :-)
I'm in today as well! Just started off with my iced coffee, which will hold me off until lunch. Probably a veggie burger and then a big salad for dinner.
Scale says I'm up 5lbs since Friday, I know that's not possible, probably just some bloating from a fun weekend. Looking forward to fasting back to normal!
Good luck everyone!
I'm in as well. Zucchini in tomato sauce in the freezer for dinner. I started kettlebell workout last week on fast day so I will continue that too. I think the exercise on a fast day will get the maximum fat burn.
Well done to all those who have finished fasting for the day and good luck to those just starting :)
It's 16.45 here and my tummy is starting to rumble. Not helped by the fact I decided to do some baking with the kids. What possessed me!?!
Hoping to hang on until at least 18.00 for my meal this evening or later if I can.
All the best today gang!! So far so good!!
I'm in today - just finished my last tiny meal of the day. Week 5 for me.

My weight was up again a bit this morning at 13st 13, so being the compulsive daily weigher that I am (at least at the moment!) I've installed one of those Android apps that track your weightloss and have a trendline. Hopefully I will start to see a gradual definite downward movement, I need to really give this way of eating several months I think before seeing whether any serious tweaking is in order (which hopefully won't be necessary).

I'm still a few pounds less than when I started 5 weeks ago though, so that's good. Hopefully I'll have a good result at my official weekly weigh-in on Friday.

(This sounds like a repeat of what I wrote here last Monday  )
I'm in today also. I'm hoping to do 3 this week, going to exercise class later. And it's pouring down here now too.
19h here & I didn't crack - very pleased with myself, as I wasn't sure if I could do it on holiday. May skip Thursday though as weight loss is not obligatory during holidays, I just wanted to make sure I didn't gain

Hi

This hard work, I've taken the shift off but it's a working holiday.

Fasting alternate days defo makes it quite tough.

Going to be hard work tonight.

The strange thing for me is the weight is coming off steadily (~about 13.5 just now would have been less if it wasn't for the peanuts!! ) but the waist is not. Only about an inch off so far.

Loooooooong way to go. lol
Hi all, have forgotten how long have been fasting, think it might be a month or so. Today I didn't eat until dinner (just had miso soup and tea/coffee all day), and had a ready meal (pasta linguine 391 calories) and an apple. Am finding it best not to eat until the evening, but am still really hungry after dinner. I find the worst bit is am wishing away my non work time because of being hungry! Anyone else finding this?
I'm a regular Monday faster now... getting into my 18th week, and recovering from many celebrations over the weekend - cake, lots of good food, wine... even a cocktail! So drinking tea, and small dinner of fish and veg... working on getting the carbs completely out on fast days, that's my new project! Also feel like I may be pushing myself over to a 4:3 type gal, since it may work better for me to help me lose more like a pound a week. :clover:
I'm with you all too!

Good luck and stay strong and positive!
My first full fast day for a few weeks as I'm on 6:1 maintenance and have had visitors/been away on my usual Monday fast day. Done some 16:8s which has kept my weight stable.

Feels good to do a full day again and I've hardly felt hungry at all, which I was surprised at. Thought it might be hard but it wasn't.

Hi Banthafish - welcome to the forums!

Feel free to post this question again as a separate topic, as it might get hidden here in the daily fast thread.

I also find it best not to eat until evening - I usually have about 300 calories at dinner, and then I usually eat the rest of my calories a couple of hours later.

Pasta might be a very bad choice because of the relatively high calories/low satiety -- I generally only have vegetables and meat on fast days in order to fill up more easily. In the summer, it's usually a big salad with some grilled chicken - you can have a HUGE salad for 300 calories and I'm generally stuffed after. In the colder weather, it's often soups or stews. So try adding a lot of low-calorie vegetables to your meal and see if that helps fill you up :-)
