Don't worry...

job gotta be done.
Fasting today after 2 weeks off on holiday. Found it quite hard today, and now counting the hours until bed and then breakfast! Been really hot here too, which on the one hand helps as salad is much more appealing, but then so is the ice cream.... Got a 30 min workout in too. And I think I've probably gone over 500 as well. Just couldn't resist a grate of parmesan on my salad, and the two mini salamis... Oh well, tomorrow is another day :-)
I've fasted today as usual but it has felt strange because I reached my target yesterday  . I am going to continue 5:2 for a while to see how it goes.

I was thinking this evening that one of the good things about fasting is that although I find it quite easy now after six months, I still have a wonderful feeling of anticipation in the evening of a fast day knowing that tomorrow I can eat what I want. It's a bit like Christmas Eve to me lol!
Well done windsinger on reaching your goal. :like:
We both, my OH & I have unusually found fasting today more difficult probably because of our calorific weekend. We have only eaten dinner today of poached eggs & smoked haddock plus a small amount of fruit but we both felt empty & have just succumbed to a hot chocolate each. So probably slightly over our fasting calorie allowances. :frown:
Hope you all did well.

I'm slighltly disappointed after a 1lb loss in my first week - had expected more but i'm now going to use My Fitness Pal to record my food days - just to make sure i keep on track.

Last weeks 2 fasts went really well but today i'm already hungry :starving: He ho - lots of water should help.

Well, I've gotten through the day despite feeling really hungry all day. A yoghurt has my name on and that should do me for the night.

Hope you've all had a good day - see you Thursday!
Hi everyone. I woke up hungry, but some fizzy water and chai tea (black) filled me up until time to go to zumba class. Shook everything for an hour and felt fantastic both during the class and afterward. More fizzy water and a cup of strong, black coffee held hunger off. About 11:30 I started to feel really hungry as did hubs, so I made a big spinach and arugula salad with sliced red peppers, green onions, and tomatoes with homemade balsamic dressing. I reverse the "recommended" proportions of oil to vinegar (1:3 instead of 3:1) and add minced garlic and dijon mustard so it's really light but much better than bottled. I put sliced, grilled tuna from last night on top of a HUGE serving of salad. It was scrumptious! Hubs had a similar salad and a grilled whole grain cheese sandwich. More black coffee until a big bowl of brothy soup tonight after zumba class #2.

This is kind of backwards from my usual fastday (i.e. soup at lunch and huge salad and protein at night, but I'm just going with the flow   Hope everyone else has had and will have a great fast day.
Phew, made it!
Also safely tucked up for the night
