Goodnight Sallyo, I'm off to bed as well. Good luck to those who are still up and fasting.
I haven't been ignoring you Nurse Bean but everything is a little mixed up here today. Yes, Spain will be (hopefully) very hot and much fun, booze and food controlled 16:8 is on the cards.
We all seem to be very upbeat here today - long may it continue.

what a fab day - we all seem to be touched by a magical wand of renewed enthusiasm! :like:

Well done @Sallyo and@Julianna on completing successfully!
Good idea whoever said, remember the old mottoes " i can have it tomorrow" and " the kitchen is closed!" Also, never forget," little pickers wear bigger knickers!"

PS @slimmer i forgot to say..
I am waving to you across the water *** yoohooo! ***! Xx
California is up and fasting! Just coffee for me and liquids until six. My goal is to exercise today and get lots done. This is my second week (and 4th fasting day), and I need to transition from "shock and awe" to "just another day."

One success: cooked for my daughter's 13th birthday yesterday. She wanted lemon cupcakes. I am not a baker, but they turned out great. Now, it was an Up Day, so.... And I did sample and sample the frosting as I cooked. BUT, when they were done, I only ate 1/2 of a cupcake. I got to taste it but realized I did not need more. I am so happy that I did not take advantage of an Up Day to go crazy. Of course, all bets are off if she had wanted chocolate cupcakes...
CandiceMarie I do like your "little pickers wear bigger knickers"! I will remember that  but I am guilty of having a piece of cream sponge this afternoon with my beading group & I have just worked out my calories for today & it will be around 800  But I'm not going to beat myself up because I did make a conscious choice to eat it so today has become a 21:3 day!
I will do better on Wednesday when I fast again.
Well done everyone who successfully has completed your fast day & I hope those of you feeling unwell will soon be much better!
Just had my main meal...courgette spaghetti topped with a dolmio sauce. Strawberries planned for supper. Going to try to do my c25k run now so I can then flab out in front of University Challenge.
I'm in today also! Nothing like a weekend at the beach to remind you to fast! It is beautiful here lately, perfect beach weather without being too sticky hot.
Today I bought some salad at the Japanese store, it seems perfect and it is delicious but I'm not exactly sure of the calories (Ika Sanai Salad) It seems like chopped squid and ginger and is very satisfying.
Good luck to everyone still fasting! See the rest of you guys later in the week!
Hi folks,
I made it to dinner time easily enough. I even managed when a friend came for an impromptu lunch. She is a large lady and I didnt want to rub it in that I was fasting or dieting, so I joined her for lunch. But I was just a little picked with small knickers!

Everything was going well, until I decided to clear out the freezer after dinner. I discovered the Christmas cake ice cream around the same time my period started. So, for the first time since I started this WOE in Feb I went well over my 500cals  I reckon I am at about 700. I did earn about 150cals on a little walk though. Does that work to cancel out the icecream?
That's the habit I've been in the last few weeks @Scubachick. Work hard to make it a one off as it's a hard habit to break. I'm sure the walking would have sorted it out and you'll get away with it if the next fast is only 500, good luck. :clover: :clover:

I've had a good day, just coffee and water until 5pm when I had some crappy crab(?) sticks 70cals (not something I normally eat but found them in the bottom of the freezer, probably a few years old but seemed ok  ) . I did some heavy duty gardening from 5-7pm, then dinner at 9:30 of 7 prawns, a quarter of a chicken breast and a small salad - 158cals. All in MFP said 268cals. very pleased with self. Just got to keep it going now, might have a 40cal hot choc later. Thanks everyone, there's been a really good vibe on this thread today. When is everyones next fast? It's easier when we all gang up on food together.
How's everyone else doing?
I'm in after a 2 week holiday. Have struggled to get back on track but today's fast went well. :like:
I'm in, still early here (just after 2pm). Fluids only so far, till late afternoon. My usual "light" days are Mon/Thurs; I've only made an exception once, and while it was fine (I kept to the program), I prefer not to do that...too easy to get sidetracked. And I'm working on making this truly a WOL, not special or unusual...just how I eat on those days.
Yes I'm in. Late posting as I don't really need to today - I am just below my weight for maintenance but I don't want to get out of the habit-and I can be reasonably relaxed for the rest of the week.

And then the Heavens must have opened. Unless I was in the 'wrong' parts of London today, I was rained on a number of times. Of course, there were other periods when I'd have needed sunblock.

It's been a peaceful, snoozing appetite sort of day. Total for the day is approx. 390kcals.
Had a very busy day today, which made the fast fly by. Just had my dinner. And that is that.

I wasn't hungry at all today. The only time I thought about food was when I responded instinctively, for example, OH had placed some cans of nuts atop the fridge, and I was about to take one just because they were there until I remembered it was a fast day.

I had 4 oz of microwaved sweet potato today instead of brown rice. I'm curious to see if it makes me hungrier than rice. It's a bit more carb, but a nice change.
