Every day there will be a new topic in this forum for today's fasters to chat & support each other.
Please don't make extra threads in here besides the daily fasting threads, if you've got a question please post it in the relevant forum or ask in today's 'Fasting Today' thread, thank you.
We all seem to be very upbeat here today - long may it continue.

One success: cooked for my daughter's 13th birthday yesterday. She wanted lemon cupcakes. I am not a baker, but they turned out great. Now, it was an Up Day, so.... And I did sample and sample the frosting as I cooked. BUT, when they were done, I only ate 1/2 of a cupcake. I got to taste it but realized I did not need more. I am so happy that I did not take advantage of an Up Day to go crazy. Of course, all bets are off if she had wanted chocolate cupcakes...
I will do better on Wednesday when I fast again.
Well done everyone who successfully has completed your fast day & I hope those of you feeling unwell will soon be much better!
Today I bought some salad at the Japanese store, it seems perfect and it is delicious but I'm not exactly sure of the calories (Ika Sanai Salad) It seems like chopped squid and ginger and is very satisfying.
Good luck to everyone still fasting! See the rest of you guys later in the week!
I made it to dinner time easily enough. I even managed when a friend came for an impromptu lunch. She is a large lady and I didnt want to rub it in that I was fasting or dieting, so I joined her for lunch. But I was just a little picked with small knickers!
Everything was going well, until I decided to clear out the freezer after dinner. I discovered the Christmas cake ice cream around the same time my period started. So, for the first time since I started this WOE in Feb I went well over my 500cals I reckon I am at about 700. I did earn about 150cals on a little walk though. Does that work to cancel out the icecream?
I've had a good day, just coffee and water until 5pm when I had some crappy crab(?) sticks 70cals (not something I normally eat but found them in the bottom of the freezer, probably a few years old but seemed ok ) . I did some heavy duty gardening from 5-7pm, then dinner at 9:30 of 7 prawns, a quarter of a chicken breast and a small salad - 158cals. All in MFP said 268cals. very pleased with self. Just got to keep it going now, might have a 40cal hot choc later. Thanks everyone, there's been a really good vibe on this thread today. When is everyones next fast? It's easier when we all gang up on food together.
How's everyone else doing?
And then the Heavens must have opened. Unless I was in the 'wrong' parts of London today, I was rained on a number of times. Of course, there were other periods when I'd have needed sunblock.Lizbean wrote: Sunny in London so far ....
It's been a peaceful, snoozing appetite sort of day. Total for the day is approx. 390kcals.
I wasn't hungry at all today. The only time I thought about food was when I responded instinctively, for example, OH had placed some cans of nuts atop the fridge, and I was about to take one just because they were there until I remembered it was a fast day.
I had 4 oz of microwaved sweet potato today instead of brown rice. I'm curious to see if it makes me hungrier than rice. It's a bit more carb, but a nice change.
