Hi again friends,
Well I did wake up after my fast day feeling fab, thanks @justdee and I'll be fasting again on Thursday. Its shown me that if you're struggling to get on the fasting horse after holidays, you really just need 1 successful fast day to get you in the right frame of mind. I'm off to have a manicure and lunch with my daughter- what will I eat? Anything I want! How cool is that!!!
Xxx
Well it looks like loads of successful fasts occurred yesterday for the DD, back to basics, Monday fasters club.

Loving that morning after feeling.
Well done everyone. :clover:

And then the Heavens must have opened. Unless I was in the 'wrong' parts of London today, I was rained on a number of times. Of course, there were other periods when I'd have needed sunblock.

It's been a peaceful, snoozing appetite sort of day. Total for the day is approx. 390kcals.

@SSure oh yes, the rain then came and the sun and the rain. Feeling great this morning. Looking forward to Thursday ....... good luck to Tuesday fasters.
That really is cool @julianna and I love it. Have a lovely day.

I had a great fast yesterday, MFP said 368cals. Thanks @candicemarie and gang, it was just what I needed. I know it was a good fast because I couldn't sleep for feeling hungry. This morning I woke up feeling great and not hungry, just broke my fast at 1pm with some baked beans on a slice of toast and a glass of milk. Feel stuffed now. Anyway must get on and go do the weekly shop, then I'll be sorting out clothes for the rest of the day :( Boooo!! ironing Boooo!! :(
How did you get on yesterday @karenm? Hope you had a lovely day on Sunday :)
Wow! @Justdee its so impressive that you kept away from food until 1pm...well done indeed...and then it was only baked beans on toast! I bet you're feeling pre-tt-y pleased now aren't you?!!

Very pleased @nursebean but also very full, I must remember to stay away from bread when breaking a fast. I'll be ok now until dinner tonight at 8 or 9pm-ish, I'm going to make a curry with all the trimmings yum. I'm so in the zone again now and very grateful of the back to basic monday, I'm already ready for Thursdays fast. Hope you're back in the zone beany :)
Yes, isn't it strange, but this Monday seems to have helped quite a few of us doesn't it. I certainly do feel back in the "zone" and hope I can keep it up so that I'll be a slim Bean at Christmas!

Well done again!

Yay! We are all such a renewed lot, I can feel the waves of determination & satisfaction of our success all the way on this side of the globe! Happy to say I also had a good fast, but then around midnight, my blood sugar dropped. I tried to use just glucose tabs, but it wasn'tcoming up, so I had some fruit & a bit of leftover hamburger. Between the protein/fat in that & the sugar in the fruit it finally got back up, but it was about 150 extra calories. Health first.... This morning all is well, I'm not hungry & have that lovely after fast empty. I think I should have reduced my bedtime insulin dose, ill ask the doc. Feeling renewed & reset for Monday/Thursday fasting. Have a great week everyone & congrats on a great Monday.
Yep think a lot of us turned a corner today and also a new leaf! :like:
Well done us!
Er...Candy? Did you sleep at all last night?
