Who's in?

I'm trying to pump myself up for a good week. Walk and gym both done by 9am. Just had some cottage cheese and almonds to get some protein for muscle repair, and now it's liquid only until tomorrow. :smile:
Hey oh here we go - though with family visiting I have already had my usual 2pm coffee at 8am - yikes this could be a very long day

Will just keep fluid fasting for as long as I can is the plan and maybe I turn to my very early days 5:2 menu plan as a symbolic back to basics. That was leek lentil and goats cheese bake. It's very low cal and a nice thing to look forward to

I am in and going back to basics
Good morning Katamac!. I'm in. I've had my morning black coffee and I'm just off to yoga. I'm making lime marmalade today. The recipe calls for Kaffir lime leaves so I hope I can get some in Devonport. I have seen them there in the past, but they may not be generally available. Big frost this morning, but now it's sunny and blue. Baked fish for dinner - I'm up to the Turkish chapter of my new Middle Eastern Cookbook. We had the Cypriot baked fish recently which was really yummy; baked on a bed of fresh breadcrumbs. This one is baked in a vegetable mix of celery, carrots and tomato. Have a good day, everyone.
Still Sunday here, but I'm all done eating until Monday's dinner. Good fasting to you all!
Morning Gillymary. What 'back to basics' do you mean? Do you mean 5:2 with 500 calories?
Ohhh flip,Gilly, sorry i didnt initially see this,i just saw Katamacs thread!we need @carorees to join this up with the other Monday Fast thread..and i think she's on holiday! :shock:

Anyways i hope your day turns into a nice easy one,not a long one ..and mine too but i have to go to bed first! You'll prob be tucking into that "bake " as i "wake" ! X
Well I am going to have to pack my day with gym and a lot of fluids. But so chuffed about the back to basics theme as early 5:2 days were my best losses and I kept a diary so might be fun and get me on another downward trajectory to my 'ideal' BMI ... We will see anyway.

Good Morning everyone :grin: I've done my stair runs/shuffles and now Im at work having a black coffee. Nothing happening here so I might shuffle off home very early today.
@Sallyo We have just planted a dwarf kaffir lime, not really big enough yet to pick the leaves. If you do find them they can be frozen for later.

@Sallyo there has been some discussion on other threads over the last few says to get back to basics starting today. Just thought might be good to raise the topic on today's fasting thread. So I am going to 5:2 today and reflect on my menus of my very early days

I'm in too, still trying to lose the holiday gain plus compensating for a wonderful meal yesterday for my sons' birthdays.

The sun is actually shining at the moment and I have even opened some windows, at least for a little while, to get some lovely crisp (it's about 3C outside) mountain air through the rather stuffy house.

I'm in! I've been doing half hearted fast days for the last month since school holidays so I'm committing to a proper fast day today. Bring it on!!!!
