Nothing before only water + black coffee, some fastdays include a light lunch full of salad leaves, 1 stick of celery + feta cheese
not on a Monday though after the excesses of a weekend
its always a willing one.
I am munching on a carrot just prior to preparing dinner - managed to get to 5.30pm on liquids only. Salmon and veggies for me, sausages for the menfolk. Then some berries and non-fat no-sugar added yoghurt. I go out Monday eves, so that helps time pass too.

I am in as well although I'm not feeling great today. Feel like coming down with a cold.
As I mentioned last week my fast days haven't often been 500cals over the last few weeks. I seem to be trying to get as much food as poss out of my 500cals, doing this I go over every time and tell myself 'well, I've still had a good fast really'. Time to 'wo'man up, I'm gonna feel hungry, I'm gonna want to eat more, I'm gonna want to eat that little bit of something else. Well not today, for today we fast. Today I will aim to eat at 7ish but if I'm busy it will be later, last nights dinner was 9:30, it all depends how busy I am and how long dinner takes to make. I hope we're having a back to basics theme all week, it feels like a breath of fresh air has blown through this fasting today thread.

I am in today. Aiming to eat 6ish, but this may change as we are getting a couple hours off this evening, whilst older daughter babysits! I want to go out in the camper and watch the boats, but hubby wants to walk

Good luck to all those fasting today, especially the 'back to basics' members. I have never stopped being a 'basic' 5:2-er and it has worked really well for me.
