Fasting today?

Every day there will be a new topic in this forum for today's fasters to chat & support each other.
Please don't make extra threads in here besides the daily fasting threads, if you've got a question please post it in the relevant forum or ask in today's 'Fasting Today' thread, thank you.

Fasted well until DH wanted a piece of chocolate with his hot chocolate prompted by my tinkering in the kitchen making my low cal hot choc last thing before bed. Drat bother and damn. Didn't resist the aldi chocolate stash. Scale respectable this am though
Well done @vivien, it's really not as bad as it sounds, is it? Don't worry you'll soon find which meals work best for you on a fastday.

Good on you @bobshouse for getting over your wobble so quickly. Are you fasting on Wednesday when traveling?

Good to see you with us on the 'fasting today' thread @pinchypops. I know you've been fasting but keep posting, I think it really helps to keep us focused. :)

You still got a good fast in @gillymary

Well done fasters, TOMORROW WE EAT !!!!!!!!! (may be not all of us. Sorry pinchy, at least you'll be getting them out of the way) :)
Thanks @justdee I agree it had been one of those smooth fast days so am not bothered and certainly looking forward to my ambrosial breakfast which I will tuck into shortly

Have a great day
Im fasting today, though I am just at the end of my day now. A fairly quick day, and no major temptations, thank goodness. :like:
Well done all you fasters out there.

I had a pretty good day - cracked open the hard boiled egg at lunchtime & drank down a Metamucil (my first go at solving that uncomfortable side effect of not eating much fibre in a day). I was proud in that I had to grocery shop, even bought some ice cream for a treat when friends come around later this week - AND I DIDN'T EVEN EAT IT!!! It just went quietly into the freezer and I didn't think about it - wow...who would've thought that just a few weeks ago?!

Finished the day with a small bowl of veggie soup and a chicken salad...possibly just a few cals over my 500 according to my tracker, but I'm happy with it.

Keep up the great work everyone!
Fast day almost over but I really want to eat :starving:
Think I'll brush my teeth & go to bed - this is my worst time as I'm a real midnight snacker
i was/am in today. Hope it went as well & quickly for everyone.
I was in today, but it didn't work out well. Had some stress, so it was a tough fast, and then I caved when I saw the family eating a delicious dinner. Oh well, I'll catch the next one. Still a lot less calories than I would normally do.
Yup @justdee will be back on here Wednesday. Have ordered a plain chicken salad for the evening. Should arrive about 7pm! I am crossing Calais- Dover. Over 400kms to drive this side in my little Smart car!
Leaving for UK on a tour,Friday.not sure how I am going to fast but will try.fasting tomorrow .
As I am driving and will not put any sweets in the car it should fine. I will stop for coffee but here there are no buns etc, you just get the coffee. I will have a bottle of water in the car and sugar free chewing gum. Once connected the other end will report back.
Sounds like a plan @bobshouse. Good luck and have a save trip. :)
