I'm in iv'e had around 100 cals so far so still have plenty for either a seafood salad or chicken salad :like: Mmm what to have?
I'm finished for the day but wonder whether the noises my stomach makes will keep me awake for a while yet.

I just noticed I have been doing this for nine months, twice a week, although less strict on Thursdays now that I am maintaining. Some weeks it's easier than others but I don't think I have ever said that I was looking forward to the day, unlike some of you. I wish I felt that way.

It was a lovely autumn day here in South Australia, 22 degrees I think, but fasting always makes me feel cold so have put the electric blanket on. Good luck to those of you halfway through the day.
I am also finished for the day but my tummy is grumbling...think I didn't eat enough dinner
Oh well, off to bed for tomorrow we eat
Hahahaha yes I should probably confirm, when I said 'scorching' it was around 25/26 this weekend - unfortunately a bit of a rarity here in the UK! xxx
Bit late. But I'm in too. They said rain was coming so I've been mowing like mad, trying to get a steep bank done. Now I'm worn out with still a third to do (not so steep though). Also got lots of grass stains on my skirt where I kept slipping down the hill. I think I might "get a man in " next time ! Funnily I've only had 1 cup of tea first thing and then nothing but water all day, and not really been hungry. Now there's a thunder storm and the rain is back. Time for supper soon. Looking forward to that !
SallyO, along with everyone else I send my condolences. We are all thinking of you.
I have had a good day - second fast and i have been fairly busy at work so it has just sailed past. Coffee for breakfast and Miso soup about 2pm with water throughout. Will have a light supper later. Cheeks went quite flushed when i drank my miso but i guess the body is just getting used to the new regime.
Today's my fast day, just getting underway here in western U.S. (just after 9am). Having my first cup of coffee, have iced tea in the fridge; stopped at the store for blueberries and blackberries last night; must have my low cal "sweets" available just in case...
Just had my Gnocchi. Been busy today as although warmish been very windy (weather not me) Got loads of washing done. Haircuts tonight my hairdresser will notice the difference.
Just finished dinner (HB Green Curry) and am a bit proud of myself that I made it through the day on only water and a glass of ice tea. Even when the "shuck this" thoughts sailed up, I staid firm = yay
Nearly at the end of my first fasting day! Boiled egg and apple for breakfast, no lunch, just plenty of water.
Very odd but I seemed to go less hungry as the day wore on, although was really looking forward to my tea, an M &S Count On Us low calorie ready meal. Oh it was not very nice, couldnt eat it, so it was panic, hadnt thought I might not like it! Had to settle for a bowl of sugar free muesli with fat free yogurt and some blueberries on top.
Well at least I have done it (almost) not long to go before bed.
Yay I did it too after a little wobble last week. Found it very easy, just black coffee and water all day. Mushroom and onion frittata and salad for dinner around 7pm. Looking forward to my breakfast tomorrow.
Wow, so many great fasting and weather posts today, I skimmed so will read again after dinner. 26 degrees in London today.

@Sallyo - I understand you and the mourning process when our parent's make a mighty age. My Dad is 95 and my Mum is 90 - still at home and happy beings, though it could fall tomorrow or next month, year.

To lose loved ones early and unexpectedly is very tough. To lose them later in life enables us to prepare, and I'm so thankful for that. Albeit tears will come, cos they will be sorely missed. It's good to cry if the moment joins you, next week, month, whatever you feel and when. Lx
I'm in today. Breakie of pineapple and low fat yoghurt, quarter of a salami and cheese sarnie for lunch (accidental), a third of a pint of cider (bought for me by my boss, so felt awkward saying 'no') and a chicken and veg stir fry for supper. Reckon it came in at just around 500 cals. Back to back fast due for tomorrow and maybe a third fast on Thursday, depending on will power! Well done everyone xx
Very tardy posting today but have been Fasting with you all day!

Should have drunk more water in this heat but otherwise been an uneventful day polished off with some cajun stir-fried turkey and a salad.

Admin for me now and then to bed!! :sleepy:
Yeah second fast day complete off to bed now. Tired but chuffed with myself
