I've had a good fast day but as usual at this time of night I'm happy to see the back of it so will go to bed soon and look forward to that great feeling of waking up feeling clean, light and slimmer. Good luck to those of you fasting and my deepest sympathies on the loss of your Mum @SallyO.
Xxx julianna
I'm in for my usual Monday. Just about to go out for my run so that will pass some time. Hope you all have a strong easy day.
Oh yeah! Almost fainted at work and thought I would loose my willpower at the supermarket
But I made it home and rewarded myself with an ice coffee - 47kcal. For dinner HB green curry.
okay, just finishing off my 50 calories of chilli hot chocolate - made on almond milk with a stevia-sweetened hot chocolate and chilli powder - yum! Then off to bed, goodnight!
Lunch time, tummy grumbling. I think I will placate it with a 40cal hazlenut hot chocolate and maybe a black coffee too. Lucky tummy ;)
We are coming to the UK on Friday.someone mentioned here ,I think it was Hannah that it is scorching there
Ok,what's scorching?
I need to pack
Fast almost over for me here in Australia .time for a hot drink and bed, feast tomorrow
You're from Oz @Sarahg so scorching probably means cold haha. I'm also going to Uk this weekend and will be taking jackets and warmish clothes as family said 'hot' weather should only last until the end of the week and then rain again. Hope this helps but I'm not there at the mo so just guessing. Have a nice trip. :)
Its 26 degrees here in Burton, UK. Think thats about 86 in farenheit. X
Again my fast day is close to finished, I'm off to bed shortly. I managed the fast with 20 odd calories to spare. Last three or four fasting days I haven't felt like jumping with excess energy, in fact I felt a little bit blah. I'm hopeful that's due to the body healing, some kind of cleansing?

All the best to today's fasters. :)
My understanding from this forum is that when the Brits say 'scorching' , they're talking mid to low 20s. Rofl!

I am so happy I got through my first fast in 2 weeks. Feeling slim. Thank you friends for all your kind thoughts today as I start my journey, post-mother. Such a strange new world.
Anyone coming to the UK should pack, warm clothes, waterproof clothes, beach wear, ski wear, stout shoes, stroppy sandals ( I actually typed scrappy, grrrrr, no, strappy sandals but liked the sound of stroppy ones ) and oh, by the way, it matters not what time of year you come here all of the aforementioned can be worn and sometimes all on the same day, good luck

Ballerina x
Yes we frequently get all four seasons in one day, makes life interesting.
Hmm 26 .......nice spring day in australia
Thanks all for the suggestions
I am planning to bring only my winter things....no strappy sandals for me
It's about 20 here today and I am not wearing sandals....runners ,jeans ,long t shirt and jumper.
