Morning from Scotland! I'm in today. Back to my normal Monday / Friday routine. Motivated again after the summer hols. Hope you all enjoyed lovely dinners in Aus. Hope everyone waking up has good days today. X
It'a just after 4pm. DH had to have miso soup at 1pm, and he can't possibly go to the gym. Now I'm having miso soup. What a godsend! That'll get me through to dinner, chicken puttanesca from the Fast Diet recipe book. We've spent the afternoon doing jobs in town: delivering green waste to the tip, picking up my framed drawing of my grand daughter which is my birthday present for her, taking daffodils to my mum, in a nursing home. This morning I got in an hour and half in the garden. Weeds 100: Sally 1. Weeds are winning. Good morning Europeans and Poms.
Half four, dinner time will soon be here!!

Normal Monday fast for me. Had a superb lunch out yesterday with a wonderful cafe gourmand but didn't overdo it toooo much. Good luck everybody.
Its 4.33pm & i have managed not to eat anything today, thats a first! will have dinner at 6pm. DH and i chomped through 2 blocks of chocolate on the weekend and some other sweet things with coffee. Will be interesting to see what the scale says this week. Must admit i do rely on diet coke to get me through the afternoon fast & to stop the caffeine yawns. Stomach grumbling at the moment.
I'm in today too, feeling okay and pottering around trying to keep busy!

I'm really interested in the concept of NEAT and have been standing a lot when reading or knitting, rather than sitting down, and going up and down stairs more than usual. The only thing that I can't do standing up is use the sewing machine as I don't have a high enough table. Will have to work on raising it with blocks or something. Don't think it would work for quilting though.

Have also discovered that now I'm lighter (lost a stone/8kilos now-yippee) I can dance around the kitchen again.....crank up the volume on the iPod and off I go! :lol:

I'm in today! Well actually I have been in for hours... it was a 5am start today so I am really feeling the fast at this end of the day.

It's been a busy day, so at least time has passed quickly. Only some miso so far.. I've bought a really yummy chicken salad for dinner, then off to the theatre :-)

Enough saved for a hot chocolate when I get home.

I'm in too. Luckily I'm finding it easy today. 3 weeks ago I lowered my carbs on the 3 weekly non fast days and I saw a regular 0.5kg loss for 2 weeks in a row. After talking to Carorees -(Caroline) and admiring her successful holiday with 16:8 and weight loss :like: i tried some thing new last week. Along with my normal 500 cal Monday and Thursday fast day I didn't at till lunchtime (16:8) on tue,wed and Friday and was rewarded with a 1.5kg weight loss :like: :like: :like: . Intriguing and exciting.:-) :heart: :clover:
Sorry. That should have said "I didn't eat till lunchtime.":-)
Also my 3rd fast day today after following 16:8 the other days. Not going to weigh myself until the end of my holiday, but I am already looking at smaller size clothes as I feel slimmer at waist and hips.
I`m starting my 4 week with fasting today so I`m in :)

Hopefully it will be a better week this time :)
I'm in. Starting back up after a so-so summer.
My ambition is to do my first "proper" fast for 6 weeks. Vacation was good but fasting was hard. I skipped breakfast and lunch a couple of days per week and then ate what ever I wanted. I've maintained my weight so no harm done.
Today I want to only eat my 500 calories and get the full benefits of fasting.
I forgot it was Monday! It's a bank holiday and it threw me. Already eaten muesli and banana!Had some lovely food over the weekend and almost a bottle of wine last night so maybe fasting today would be a great idea. I will see how it goes. Good fasting everyone x

I am in today for what it's for me a liquid fast. Black coffee, water, lemon and honey (I still have some coffee after my astma attack) and, tonight, a chinese soup.
