We are in on this beautiful summer day in the Colorado mountains. So easy now as this is a habit that we now do without much effort. Busy week with our 36th wedding anniversary and our grandsons 2nd birthday party but we can figure our days around this. 6 months on 5/2 has yielded my OH has lost 33 lbs and myself 21lbs. :like: How wonderful we found this as we have a new lease on life and enjoying every day ! Good luck everybody
I'm in too, with my fasting day just about over now. Have done my usual liquid Monday fast without any problems. Had an unexpected visitor from Thursday to Sunday so couldn't fit in a normal fast and decided to give 16:8 a go instead; will be interesting to see what the scales say on Wednesday! But I definitely enjoyed myself so no regrets.
I am also on my first maintenance fast day. Looking forward to the rest of the day ((;00 07 AM here).

Take Care All. :clover:
Count me in, been fine up to now. My Zumbe starts again tonight after an 8week break which means I can't eat till I get home at 8.30. I am telling myself I managed it o.k. Before the break so I will manage it today. Good old positive thinking :like: Hope you all get on fine :clover:
I'm in too! Happy to have finally gotten my waist down to double digits (99 cm) - now if I can just keep on keepin' on.
Hey all!

I'm in for my usual first fast of the week.

Lost 3 pounds this week despite being super stressed out as we are in the Underwriting stages of getting our first home!

Had a great weekend filled with McDonalds, choc cake and boneless wings with blue cheese dressing

Have a great one Peeps
Signing in late into our fast day. Feeling virtuous because we are on holiday in Devon but because we are self catering rustling up scrambled eggs & ham followed by fresh fruit for our supper. I did sneak a teaspoonful of coconut oil into a coffee a couple of hours ago. My OH is lounging in a bubble bath but sadly no G&T to drink today. But there is always tomorrow on this WOE  & we are off to Dartmouth on a steam train & then river ferry to lunch in a superb restaurant overlooking the river Dart with wonderful fish & wine to look forward to :like: :like:
It's a quarter to ten in the morning here and I'm in. Just drinking water until tomorrow.
It's nearly dinner and I will have 2 kind of soups. One chinese soup (56 cal) and one fish soup (69 cal). And if I am still hungry after that, I will have an extra pumkin soup for dessert
I'm in! so far coffee and will have salmon and veggies at dinner time :)
Ok, what's a pom? I'm pretty sure you don't mean Pomeranian dog.

I'm in today too - nothing but two Nespresso shots today, with a tablespoon of milk in each (Arpeggio, pulled as lungos). Oh I don't know that I could do this without my lovely Nespresso machine. Tonight after dinner I'll have a shot of decaffinato intenso with a small square of very dark chocolate (60 calories) - which is the perfect way to end a fast day.

Tonight we're having http://www.myrecipes.com/recipe/chili-w ... 001687650/ again -- Chipotle chocolate turkey chili. We love it!

I'm working on cleaning out the upstairs. We're going to install new laminate flooring in the whole upstairs, and we're moving the boy's bedroom into the old office, and making his old bedroom into a family room for the xbox, wii etc, with a foldout sofa for guests. It's a huge project!

:-)
Is today's fast over yet? Reached that point in the day when I've eaten all the calories and there are 4 hours until bedtime..... Aaaaghhh! I should know better by now. Workout - that's the answer to keep mind off hunger.
I absolutely cannot work out on a fast day!!!! I get so hungry!

And I hate to admit it, but I have in the past taken a benadryl/sleep aid and gone to bed early on fast night because I don't want to eat any more. I think I've only done it once in 8 months.

What I do now though is wait until dinner time to eat my calories. I can usually get by fairly easily until I actually eat, then I get really hungry. So I have the bulk of my calories at dinner, and I usually save 100 to 150 calories for a pre-bed snack. Otherwise, i have too much trouble falling asleep.

 Know how you feel... Same here... Until now (3rd fast) I find the evenings the hardest. Will try a different strategy tonight. I have a meeting for a cup of tea in a café with another faster in half an hour. I hope distraction helps!

@Tracieknits, you are cracking me up with your Nespresso and Benadryl comments. I too am in love with my Nespresso! And though I haven't succumbed yet, I too have been tempted to cut a tough fast day short with a shot of Nyquil...

I'm in today, luckily it's already after 2pm here, so dinner is not far off.

Getting a couple looks today because I brought in a large-ish pitcher to make iced tea. ("You are all about your liquids, aren't you??" Gotta stay hydrated!)
