Fasting today too. Had a 43 cal cup a soup at lunchtime plus a couple of white coffees through the day. Just had my tea - an Innocent veg Dahl which was delicious and only 319 cals so a bit left over ;)
Hi, I'm fasting today too~ I've been doing this since April but today has been reeeeaaaally hard!! I've not posted in awhile, due to health issues and a very busy end of term. Still plodding on, not lost anything in a few weeks but despite feeling a little fed up I'm persevering with this WOE. Whilst doing 5:2 I've lost just over 10 pounds but altogether since Jan I've lost 32 pounds, and in the last few days people have been commenting on my changing shape!! Whoo hoo!! Will have my dinner about 7.30pm, my first food of the day. Hope everyone else is having a good fast day. Xx
I have been fasting today and omg its hard after a very long shift at work yesterday all I want to do is eat lol!

Then to top it of I went to Tesco and found a whole aisle made of American food. Lucky charms, Jell-O and even marshmellow fluff!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! X
Have fasted today, and it's been quite hard due to a humdinger of a headache - have tried the usual things suggested on here (bouillon etc) but not shifted it, so I think I will have to resort to paracetemol and an early night :dazed: :sleepy: :dazed:
Nearly done for today! Not a bad day all in all despite a stiff, sore neck and banging my head off the door! Managed to fast as planned and enjoyed a lovely omelette at teatime. Just having a wee coffee (and some painkillers) then off to bed. Roll on breakfast! X
Arrrghhh! I went overboard. My daughter was having spaghetti carbonara for dinner and I couldn't resist so intead of 500 cal I had 750 for the day. I'm glad I was good the rest of the day...it was so yummy! :P
Well done everyone who fasted or is still fasting today. I was so tired today that I was very sceptical that I would make it through, but the fact that my husband and my good friend are there right alongside me makes it so much easier than when I was going it alone. I'm confident that by the time we're through our ten week experiment, regular fasting will not only be easy peasy, but will also be something I look forward to.
Well that was s strange day of feeling hungry all day, had a veg n miso soup..yesterday's left overs blitzed in the miso stock for a late breakfast and still hungry. Lasted till two ish and had a banana..made a coleslaw with yoghurt dressing a la Jamie, and cold roast beef...and could not manage more than half! No longer hungry...on to tomorrow then and a day of feasting. A bientot everyone.
I found today really hard;unlike my last fast day when I actually forgot for long tracks of the day that I was fasting. I had a slight headache for most of the day which didn't help. Looking forward to breakfast tomorrow.
today was a pretty good fast day. I skipped breakfast and wasnt hungry until mid afternoon which worked well! I did have a little headache during the afternoon but didnt get day time sleepiness til about 5pm so work wasnt affected! fasting on wednesday now
Sorry I'm late to the party. Sort of difficult day because I started work at 6 AM and then had many things to do. Good to be busy but felt like a marathon, longer-than-usual Monday. And I'm SO HUNGRY! Had headaches throughout the day (could be sleep deprivation or hunger or both) and was a little worn out, maybe a bit disoriented/lacking in focus, but I'm sure tomorrow I'll feel great. Now, my next challenge is to not OVEREAT like I did last Saturday and Sunday so I can pick up the weight loss pace...
Having posted that I felt unwell during Mondays fast, I would like to state that I was obviously going down with a sore throat. So, trying not to associate fasting with negative feelings, and won't fast until I feel better. Just in case anyone is interested.
