1pm here and nothing has passed my lips apart from two coffees and two glasses of water....a little peckish
I had a poor week last week ad failed my Thursday fast miserably :( intended to fast last Friday instead and went all day doing well when last minute change of plans (due to friends moving :( ) meant take out for tea. Making up for it today by fasting and am not feeling hungry at all :) just still need to figure out what to cook for tea >.< and go shopping for it!!
I'm back after a week and a half of indulgence. I have been eating around 2800 ckals a day for the past 10 days and have put on 3 lbs

For the first time I'm not panicking about it because I know how to bring myself back to leaner me

Though, today's fast is tough, especially with all the stress at work.....
I ate so much yesterday that I'm determined on today's fast! I went to The Ivy for a 60th last night, and totally over ate as the food was sooo good.

..BUT, I equally enjoy my fast day suppers so all is good. Only drinking today (diet coke) and then will enjoy the full meal this eve...loaded with veggies. Personally I love griddling slices of courgette with garlic & garlic salt so I have a big bowl of curls so my eyes feel full :)
Nearly school pick up time. Have cleaned / washed / ironed all day :) happy it's all done. Swimming lessons after school so no time to think about being hungry. Ok today. Bit of a headache though. Hope everyone's day is going as quick as mine. X
I am fasting today- 1 cup of tea and nearly 2 litres of water.....roll on 6pm when I can have my dinner!! happy fasting x
For the first time ever I have a hudge headache and nothing seems to calm it down.

Won't eat before 7:00 PM, in 2 hours, and only liquid so I'll do anything to keep busy until then
I started my 24 hours fast yesterday evening and am glad to say that I feel happy and upbeat despite a much earlier wake up this morning.

I have enjoyed a couple of cups of black tea and coffee and am looking forward to breaking my fast in a few hours. :victory:

The day has simply flown by today
I'm in. After 2 weeks holiday I was shocked to see the scales reading what they used to about 3 months ago. Let's hope it doesn't take that long to lose the 6lbs again!
I'm also in. I made homemade pizza with blue cheese and goats cheese yesterday. I've saved 2 slices which come in around 450 cals for dinner (about 1/4 of the pizza). It's 4pm now and getting peckish - I used do have small lunch of boiled eggs and then small dinner but after reading a book by Robert Skinner (free to download on amazon), I decided to try and lengthen my fasts. So I've had nothing but coffee and 1 bovril so far. I think I'll go have another bovril as I am headachy.

I'm hoping to be home by 630pm for dinner but will be famished I'd say by then. Unfortunately having car trouble so have to go walk 30mins to pick up my car and then drive an hour home in it. I've been careful not to eat after 6pm these days so hopefully not to late after that tonight.

After the pizza I will then have nothing til 2pm tomorrow and do 16:8 in anticipation of my holiday this week :victory:
Hey everybody,
Im, fasting today. Don't get discouraged! Not everyone will have amazing results. Most of us will have "normal" results. I've lost 19 pounds since March which isn't "amazing" but I feel so much better and look so much better. I'm in for the long haul and I bet I will keep losing slowly.
Keep your chin up.
Fasting today and feeling fine in terms of the fullness factor, but craving carbs and sugar like mad! Probably due to being a little hungover, plus I know I'm going to be preparing for a dinner party that I'm having tomorrow this evening - making spicy mango chicken for main, canapes to start and numerous desserts for afters, which I will have to make tonight! Hopefully the act of cooking will hold me back from stuffing my face this evening! xx
I'm in today. After an August with calorie & portion-creep, it's time to get a grip.

So veggies for tea in not too big a portion. :-)
Hi all

I've fasted today and so far the only calories I've had were the ones in the milk in my single cup of tea. I've had black coffee and herbal teas too. Am pretty hungry now and will probably be having a courgette omelette in a bit - courgette from the garden! It's our second wedding anniversary tomorrow although hubby's working away, so we had a lovely meal out at Strada on Saturday. I think I've eaten too much by way of bready things - it never used to affect me but I swear my circumference grew several inches over the weekend! I had a really good week last week and dropped 3lb after my two fasts but surprise surprise I started this morning exactly the same as last week. I'm going to be extra vigilant during September, short of tracking every bite, and hope that things move downwards in a permanent way soon!
So far I've survived all day on black coffee, water and 170 cals of porridge with blueberries that I ate mid-morning. I've been flat out with work but also very disciplined because I work from home and during screen breaks I was dismantling the remains of last night's roast chicken and making stock from the bones. I didn't even lick my fingers.

Time to eat now, though.
