Fasting today because yesterday's fast was a washout. We just didn't have anything planned so declared it to be a 16:8 day. saying that we (my son and myself) probably only has 1200kcals for the day.

My son is in charge of dinner tonight, as he's a chef its something to look forward to rather than dread.
I'm in. Was starving this morning and reached for a bag of baked crisps (102 cals) and a sugarless tea, was contemplating trying tomorrow instead but been fine since so will have a 400cal dinner and still make it. Hurrah!
Ready for a fasting Monday here ! Good luck everybody
I normally make it until 7pm for my one and only feed but in the last 2 hours all three dogs have vomited all over my carpet and so fed up made a cup a soup!!
Fasting today, going well so far. just had miso soup, not sure about it really, might grow on me...
Baking some salmon to have for dinner with lots of salad and maybe a couple of small new potatoes.
Doesn't the last hour and a half drag on before the magic meal time!
Time for more water I think.
I'm in and just about to eat my poached eggs, sandwich thin and half a tin of baked beans. Then off to class.

Definitely! I went horse riding this afternoon, so have just had a shower which used up some time! Oh, and got rid of the horsy smell which doesn't half cling to my hair!

Tummy now rumbling. Planning bacon and egg with mushrooms and a few fried tomatoes that were overripe in the greenhouse. What a norty fast day dinner
Hi! I was doing really well, just had water and coffee until teatime, then beans, scrambled egg and tinned tomatoes and a tiny bit of OH's birthday cake from yesterday. Then after boys in bed my parents came over with card for OH and a big choc cake! 331 cals per slice! Oh well, more of a 19:5 day! Maybe I'll do Wednesday and Friday instead of Thursday to compensate?
Hi all, I'm new here and today has been my first fasting day :)

It went ok I think, I had an apple and a cup a soup to tide me over until about 3:30 then went out for a walk. I was feeling really lethargic by then. I had a ready meal and a low fat dessert for dinner, plus extra veg. I was so happy to eat!

Think I probably went over by about 50 calories but I did it. I have a terrible headache though, and I'm going to bed with my stomach rumbling. Good to be here.
Hi cat_s85 and welcome! :)

Congrats on completing your first fast day, it's always the hardest one. :victory:
I am in also. Can not wait for dinner time!
Welcome to the forum cat_s85, well done on completing your first fast. Have a good look around the site, it's a great place for info and has helped me loads over the last few weeks.

I'm in! It's been a rough few weeks, plateau and now maybe a gain! Having family guests staying with us just makes the feast days too feasty! Fasting today and feeling good. Having a spicy Japanese calamari salad, which MFP says is 150 cals
