Good luck and positive thoughts while I sleep for northern hemisphere fasters.
I will go without until dinner time at 6pm where I am looking forward to a beef stew..
I am considering getting some Bovril cubes for lunch time though?
The worst thing about today is it is someone's birthday in the office so everyone (apart from me!) will be chomping on cakes soon..
Good luck everyone!
Not back at work until tomorrow so today will be hard as I'm at home (doing not a lot...). Looking forward to getting back into a routine!
Plan is soup at lunch, with chicken & veg for dinner. Early days of fasting so don't think I'd be able to go all the way through until dinner!
Stood on the scales last night and got the shock of my life (in a bad way!). Had a terrible weekend (involving a curry, lots of wine AND a full english breakfast) so getting back on it this week!
Good luck and happy fasting xxx

have to say bovril is a life saver for me @robmorris would highly recommend it.
On my first of 3 fasts this week - nothing but disgusting caffeine free coffee and bovril til dinner - then I have a lefto over chicken curry. Its only 11am here - determined today to stay under 500cals. I have triathlon swimming session tonight though so god knows how that will go - thats why I need to keep my calories for then
Did a quick weigh-n - since 31 Dec lost 4 pounds (needed to) and 1 whole inch off my waist !!
Vicki - 99 pound lost WOW!!
(next year I think I will just juggle the days tbh - just not worth the weight gain!!)
Only been diong 5:2 since September, but it really is the way to go.
Xxx
