That's me done for the day!! Went slightly over as I snaffled a few nuts, but overall, pretty pleased with my ADF so far. Night all, and good luck!!
Hello I'm back here too, much needed after a few months relapse.

Fasting today, feel ok so far, nearly midday, have had a very tiny tangerine, lots of water and peppermint tea. :)
Hi Everyone

Back today after only one fast over the whole festive period but feeling motivated and ready to go again! Small bit of damage to repair before getting to my target and reassessing.

Green Tea so far today with some homemade spicy tomato soup mid afternoon and a combat class to attend at the gym before a well deserved omelette i think

Happy Fasting and best wishes for 2014 to you all
Does anyone here exercise on their fast days? Having only done a few fasts, I haven't dared try exercise on a fast day, just incase it triggers hunger or a headache!

You should be fine, I've just done over an hour in the gym on an empty stomach and fasting for 15 hours. Going to have some soup now but I feel perfectly ok.
I'm here. @robmorris take the cake and stash it in your drawer. You can have it tomorrow
Hi Wendy - Oh don't worry - my one is in the fridge for tomorrow! he he
I'm in for sure!

Had a good 'spartan salad' at about 2.30pm, a lot of tea this morning and a diet coke. Pea & spinach soup to come this evening. Happy fasting everyone, looking forward to putting the holiday food & drink behind me!

@fatcat89 yes I always try to start my fast days at the gym. I don't do crazy weights or anything, but 20 mins or so on the treadmill and a lot of stretching. I find it helps keep my appetite away at least for the rest of the morning! I have tried the gym on the morning following a fast day, and that wasn't so good - felt a bit weak. Good luck with it!

I'm in today. Been busy, last days of holidays and got lots of jobs done, very satisfying feeling :) @fatcat89 I've been for a run this afternoon, first one of Jantastic. Like @lizzieh I find exercising the day after a fast more difficult.
Thanks for the advice... I shall hop on the cross trainer before dinner! No more excuses!

My first fast day today. Gone ok so far but am a bit peckish now. I'm sure I've been thinking far more about food today than ever. I've had small bowl of cereal, cups of tea, water and an apple so far. Hubby has kindly offered to make something for tea (and he's joining in with me). Tennis later (another distraction) and then early to bed with a book. Love this forum!
Going well so far - a boiled egg and clementine for breakfast along with coffee. Well past noon here now and only water since. I'll have a chicken breast, carrots and a nice salad for supper. I feel good.

PS - love reading the forum when I'm fasting. Very encouraging so thanks everyone and all the best! :like:
Right, that's me done for the day, calorie wise! It was hard today and I wolfed down my tea cos I was so hungry! Still, hole filled.. The evenings are easy for me once I've got my jams on *rushes to get ready for bed*

Keep going all of you still at it :like:
