Jj where abouts in Devon are you from?
Morning everyone, usual Monday fast for me......onwards and downwards :)
Mornin! I'm in. :clover:
I am today starting he 5:2 fasting diet. At 83 kilos (over 13 stone!) I'm the heaviest/fattest I've ever been and have started to wear joggers during the day for comfort ie my jeans are too tight/uncomfortable. Things have got to change - or rather I have got to improve my lifestyle. I'm 48 and would like to weigh 70 kilos (just over 11 stone) by the time I'm 50. I'm fit (I walk the dog, swim, run and play tennis) but eat and drink too much. Wish me luck!
Morning Fellow Fasters
I am in today too. Slowly trying to lose the 1.5kg I put on whilst on holiday. Will do my 2 fasts plus 16:8 the other days this week to try to get back on target.

Water and green tea will see me through until dinner tonight

Keep up the good work folks :clover:
Morning,

This is now my second attempt at 5:2, I managed about 6 weeks at the beginning of summer and then fell off the wagon. I lost about 4lbs then, but it has piled on again.

So today is my first week back on it. So fingers crossed I can stick to it.
Especially in this gloomy wet weather in London.

Good luck to all.
Good Morning, I'm in for my usual Monday fast. :coffee:
Foul weather today but hey ho here we go, all for a jolly body-o!
Morning all!

3 pounds up on the scale this morning, but I'm putting that down to water retention after a seriously salty Sunday dinner cooked by himself.
Always fun to watch as Western Europe wakes up!! I have had a large 400 calorie bowl of porridge and blueberries to break my fast, nice, warming comfort food! Don't think it'll do my weight any good in the morning, but it is what I fancied. Role on tomorrow!
Good luck all!

My fasting day is close to done now; good luck to all those of you with the day still ahead of you! :clover:
I'm in too.... Grey rainy day in London.

Had my first coffee of the day, with a teaspoon of coconut oil - slightly different taste but I think it makes me feel more full...

Welcome to 5:2, @BrightonFiona and to the Forum. It's really good supportive place. And 5:2 works!
Good morning Monday fasters & welcome to all the newbies. It is grey & rainy here in Sussex & it's wonderful to read posts from around the world but I wish I could send our rain to where the fires are in Australia!! so keep safe everyone.
My OH & I are in fasting today so only coffee so far. We will break our fasts this evening with an M&S fuller longer meal that saves me preparing anything in the kitchen. We both need to fast anyway because we will be lunching with friends tomorrow & the wine will be flowing!
Have a good day everyone & Lil I hope you feel better soon.
Hello fellow Monday fasters...hope it's going well for you all so far. Sitting here sipping my green and mint tea thinking of my delish M&S meal tonight...not long to wait :-)

Blimey, my stomach is rumbling rather loudly today...good job I'm on my own

Hope you all have a great, easy day!
count me in, I ate a mountain of bread and chocolate yesterday for some inexplicable reason so It is very important that I get back to normal today. As I found out on previous occasions when I pinged out I feel ill now with an upset tummy why don't I remember this when I am in the act of eating too much of the wrong foods. :?: Hope you all have a good day.
