Got a renewed sense of purpose, seeing as I'm so close to goal. Done pretty well today, but fasting properly tomorrow.

I'm in, and a bit dank here today too.
I am new to posting on this site.
I am in Melbourne as well, definitely gloomy outside, after a couple of lovely days.
Am just having my first lemon and ginger 'tea' for the day.
Then back to the cleaning!!

I'm in today. Having my first coffee. It could be eggs for tea, then again it could be an Asian soup with buckwheat noodles and snow peas and coriander. Perhaps chicken in the soup. I like to have a plan in the morning. Today's jobs are : 1. to prepare resources for my classes this week. 2. To tidy the dining room table. 3. Possibly, depending on weather, prepare the bed for the tomatoes and plant seeds of pumpkin, cucumber and zucchini. Better get started/.
I've just started 5:2 today and am 5 hours into my first fast.... (not counting or anything... haha)
Feeling ok so far but I know this afternoon is going to be when I struggle.

These forums are wonderful motivation to help you keep going thru the fasting days (as well as during other challenging times such as when cravings strike) so make the most of the vast experience of those who post.
Although I did my first post today, I have been on 5:2 since April, and am very pleased with the results so far. Wishing you the very best

Sydney is surrounded by bushfires and the smoke seems to be getting thicker.
The city itself is not endangered but so many outer area fires are burning. Stay safe all our Blue Mountains friends!
There is a health warning out for asthmatics - sounds like a good day for indoor exercise.
I'll have veges and fruit for dinner.
It's my book club tonight and I'm planning to save 120 cals for a small glass of wine!
