I'm in today as well. We're going to have steak salads for dinner tonight, as the weather's been unseasonably warm and springlike. We've had temps in the 50's (F)! I'm going to the salon today. I think I'm sick of red hair, and I'm contemplating going back to my natural light brown with a big shock of purple in the back :-) If my hair is healthy enough for it, I may do highlights that I can use temporary dye on for bursts of color

I do have to go to the grocery store today, which I don't really like to do on fast days, so I may reward myself with some fresh raspberries.

Jackdaniels - I think this is dangerous and I think you need to just go eat lunch now. This diet is not meant for fasting two days in a row, and I'm not the least bit surprised your body demanded food last night! But to fast three days in a row is, in my opinion, dangerous and foolhardy.

Please allow at least one day of normal eating between fast days.
My boss sat in the office and had pea & ham soup, which made me feel so hungry, I went to the shop to buy bovril, and saw they had ham stock cubes, so made myself a drink with half a one for 16 calories. It seems to have done the job, but might have the other half later on...
Ohhh MrsBod....you devil you, lmao. Meanwhile I am almost orgasmic with a large mug of bovril and laughing at a comment which went something like..."become Zen with your weighing scales".

I prefer Kikkoman miso, but unless you can get to an Asian grocers, this miso is a good alternative.

I'm fasting today, too. Usually would be tomorrow, but am out for lunch and then Friday we have a Comic Relief meal.
Thanks PennyForthem, I have a chinese supermarket near me, so might scout that out.

I have developed a bit of a pain in my chest, but it is probably just heartburn I think, used to get that a lot, and maybe that stock cube had a fair bit of fat in it...
I hap planned to fast tomorrow, but I've been to Zumba, had a dash around town, and been to visit my dad this morning.
It's now 1.15pm and I haven't eaten a scrap, so now thinking of making today my 2nd fast day instead of tomorrow.
I have Zumba tomorrow a.m and its the teachers birthday.
One of my friends is making her a surprise chocolate fudge cake, so tomorrow might turn out not to be a good day.
I have pasta left over for my husband, and have lots of yummy things I can have.
I'm half way there already, and always panic a bit about fitting the 2nd fast day in.
It looks like I'm going to have around 166 calories spare today after my dinner, any suggestions for a treat?
Being a savory person myself i love 2 ryvita with a sliver of hummus or low fat cheese with garlic and herbs with a lovely cuppa with skimmed milk usually around 9pm.
Occasionally I have a scraping of flora and marmalade if I feel like something sweet....oh now my tummy's rumbling!
I thought we were banned from talking about food on a fast day?? Lol
Oops, it really isn;t the best idea is it!

Well, I'm planning on doing my 30 day shred DVD tonight, so that should take my mind off things for a bit, then make some candles
Fasting today as well...Wednesdays and Fridays are my fast days. They are the easiest for me schedule-wise. So far, only coffee. It's only 9:30 a.m. here in the US, so just coffee for breakfast, and then for lunch I'm going to have some instant miso soup and an apple. And then for dinner two small slices of supreme pizza (frozen, super-thin crust- only comes in at 250 cals). So far, so good. I have a slight cold, and I think the decongestant I'm taking is also keeping my appetite at bay. I've been doing this diet since Feb 27, so I'm two weeks in and I've already lost 4.4lbs!
Afternoon all :cool:

3rd fast for me today, fasting days are normally Sunday and Thursday but as I am working from home today decided today was a better day to fast (stops me grazing on snacks at home)

So today I have had 50g of sugarsnap peas and I am eating a small bowl of homemade butternut squash soup with some added lentils. Dinner tonight will be more soup with some added veg :cool:
I'm doing 4: Mon, Weds and Fri. My second fast day of the week here, am about 6 weeks into this.
Had planned to go into town today shopping with a friend so had planned all snacky things to take with me, that got cancelled but as food was already planned I stuck with it. So had a 60cal yogurt, an alpen light and a few grapes for breakfast. Just had 4 and a half M&S breadsticks, some orange segments and some strawberries for lunch and dinner will be a quorn fillet cooked in chopped tomatoes with green beans and some melon.

Will be more active this evening than most evenings as I have a 40min walk to college and back. I usually totally veg in the evenings but compensate by getting up early to work out before work, this morning was level 2 of Jillian Michaels extreme shed and shred, my confession for the day is that I was very naughty and didn't do the cool down. My driving instructor was due for a lesson and it was either cool down or shower, didn't have time for both. Next time I MUST start earlier.
Today will be my 5th fast day. This was an unplanned fast day but I have been able to turn it into one after all.
I am doing the weekly food shop tonight though which is making me a bit nervous. It'll probably end up with me adding some biscuits into the basket for tomorrow!
So far, it's 2.40pm and all I 've had is a cup of coffee and several glasses of water. I might have some of my homemade 'green soup' soon, which is 46 cals per very large serving :smile:
Yesterday was my first day for fasting. I was surprised how easy it was. I had moments of hunger, especially around dinner time. I had soup to look forward to and that filled me up. Second fast will be this Friday. I def. feel less bloated. So far, so good.
