Fasting today?

Fastig today for the 3rd time. Managed better on Mon. Had miso soup lunch time and bovril 4pm and I think that helped. My problem is the constant peeing.I find nights worst. 8 times mon night and still 3 times last night even though not fasting. Does this get better. Feeling sleep deprived at mo.
Also fasting today. My days are Mondays and Wednesdays, chosen because I go out to evening classes on these days, so if I get hungry I can't do anything about it (we don't have breaks). Days in between fasts essential to me now (been doing this over 7 months, up until Christmas did consecutive fast days). I really look forward to the day between fasts. Good luck.
Fasting today, for the 2nd time. Had my egg white scrambled egg on a little bit of rye bread for breakfast which does keep me going, and not decided if I am going to just have bovril or have soup at lunch, struggling with only 2 meals.

Tonight will be a big bowl of home-made soup I think, carrot & corriander.

People in the UK, where do you buy your miso from? I love miso soup so think this could be a good option for me at lunch times
Fasting today as usual, although today is a landmark fast - 20th Fast (in 10 weeks) :dance:

After going all day with just coffee and bovril, I plan to celebrate this event with a feast consisting of Mushroom risotto, refried beans with chilli and salad, and a HUGE pile of veg.. All for less than 500 calories.. I am salivating as I speak and with hours to go I'd better stop talking about it !
Malteserr, I feel the same, after a lovely (at the time) 3 course meal out last night I feel so bloated and full today think I am going to join you all for an extra fast.

Vivbp....wow 8 times at night ? Unless you have a medical problem I would say that's far too many times. How much are you drinking on a fast day ?
Hi Bee. No I dint have a medical problem. I have Black coffee first thing. Water about 8.30 to take vits and painkillers (Knee injury) Ginger tea/Cinamon tea Miso soup Water Nd cammomile tea last thing to soothe me.
Perhaps someone who is knows more could advise you, I know it would drive me nuts to get up 8 times. Perhaps you could message Caroline or Moogie ?.....and hi :)
Going to try today! Meeting a friend at lunchtime so will try to stick to tea and make it to this evening before eating my allowance :) Will have to see how it goes, usually more determined but as it is only Wednesday, I feel like if it doesn't work today I have a buffer in Thursday.

Vivbp: Could be from using up glycogen stores...converting glycogen to glucose releases a lot of water. That's why people see big weight drops in the first week which then goes back on as the glycogen stores are replaced. I imagine it will get better.
I am joining you today!!! This is my 2nd fast day. I am in the US so my day is just starting. Hopefully work won't be to stressful since that is what makes me want to eat. Good luck to you!!!!

10th fast in 5 weeks for me today, decided to forgo breakfast and lunch altogether and have a lovely prawn and rice stir fry for dinner. Thought I wouldn't be able to go all day without food but come lunch time I wasn't overly hungry so just thought - why not wait it out til dinner!!
Also fasting today, this is my 4th fast day and so far I have not really lost any weight (a pound fluctation only). I went totally overboard yesterday and felt bloated and fat, hopefully I will feel better at the end of today.
Today I had breakfast of porridge and coffee with skimmed milk and sweetner (177 calories), I will have a low calorie soup at lunch if hungry (65 cals) and then dinner of tofu and veg stirfry (250 cals) with lots of water and herbal tea along the way!

Hopefully I will see some difference next week.

Count me in too for today, fellow fasters. 2nd one this week so far - I need to compensate for the mid-size bag of Maltesers I ate all to myself at the cinema last night :oops: (Song for Marion - good film - take treats and hanky!!) May even stretch to a 3rd fast day on Friday - will see how it goes - Good luck everyone :clover:
