Its gone well today, tea and water, plus a mid morning coffee kept me going all day, and just sat down to liver caserole with cauli and spinach. Really nice.

Feel well today, none of the odd taste in my mouth I had on Monday, and have had enough energy for a hard day at work, a lunchtime walk, and now helping boys with their homework. I'll sleep well tonight, and really looking forward to a family meal out tomorrow

Today has been very easy. I had hunger pangs for maybe 5 minutes at lunch. Just having my French onion soup for dinner with a few crackers and a couple of plums for desert. Am feeling very good. :) well done all the fasters who have made it through the day. Feed day tomorrow!

Today's fast has gone well. Planning is key for me. A full flavour single meal for dinner followed by a relaxing bath are my incentives! Minor hunger waves a few times today but they passed quickly. Off to the land of nod now on a full tum. Sleep well folks... :sleepy:

I have had an easy peasy fast today. I've been busy and pre-occupied so haven't thought about food much.
I last until 6pm on just tea, water and a diet Pepsi. I had chicken and a steamed rice bag for dinner, a pot of sugar free jelly and now I'm having a wee choc highlights before bed.

Easiest fast so far, hopefully I get some results soon. It's been nearly 5 weeks. Well done everyone for fasting today and enjoy your breakfast in the morning. X

I've been fasting today, too, - seventh week, fourteenth fast (I think!) Well done to all those who have made it through their fast day and are happy with how it went. For those of you who had difficulties to contend with, I hope that you either overcame them or are ready to put them behind you and battle on!

I would like to congratulate Joyful Janet on your way of dealing with a cake situation. Taking a slice of cake to eat tomorrow is a great way of coping and shows that you are controlling your food and not letting food control you. Have you always been able to be rational around food? I haven't been in the past but I have found myself in a few situations where I have been able to either eat only a small amount of a particularly desirable food or, indeed, been able to decide that I didn't want it at all. This is something which I have never experienced before starting this WOE and it is very empowering!

I have had a very satisfying dinner this evening after a day on nothing but water and black tea (my usual hot drink of choice) - lots of vegetables, chopped and braised in a vegetable stock cube with a little wholegrain rice, the liquid then reduced and two eggs, from my own hens, stirred through them. Now I am just off to have a 40 calorie Chocolate Options because I need a little something sweet to see me through the rest of the evening.

Good luck to all on your forthcoming non-fasting days. Enjoy!

My second fast day 8PM to 8PM worked well. A few brief moments of feeling light headed but with alot of energy and feeling real good and proud of myself.Does anyone know how to upload a photo? Nice to see a picture with a name.

After my 24 hour fast, ended my reasonable dinner with a box of cookies. Just kept stuffing it in. Have to think about. Must be careful to let it go. Better next time.

Well, not too bad a Adam yesterday...I think I reached 600 cals, tho....on the scales today and back on track to where I was a month ago before illness and visitors...but it's the waist measurement I can't seem to get consistent. Where does one measure? Is it over the navel or round the narrower part somewhere between ribs and what used to be my hips? It all depends on how much I tighten my "muscles"...

Hi Helengerin, you should measure your waist around the narrower part above belly button. But I always find measuring my waist tricky.
