Fast day number 8 for me today. I seem to have eaten badly on my food days last week so need to watch out for that.
Week 12 starts now! Prepping Hairy Dieters cassoulet for dinner, to sit in the slow cooker all day while I help my parents move house. Hopefully I'll be busy enough to not think about food!
6th fast day for me.Looking forward to it strangely. I have put 2lb back on this week but didnt get my usual walks this weekend due to snow so mabe thats why?Waist still the same (1in lost) so thats ok.Im going to venture out with doodle later. Must get a walk in today. Husband walked her over weekend while I sat shivering in car.I have osteoperosis so I have to be carefull not to fall over.in case I break something again.Roll on tomorrow.
I'm from the US and I am starting The Fast Diet today. I am happy to have found this forum and excited to start the program today. I have about 40 pounds to lose. Wish me luck today!!
Help! - fasting today too.

Its week 9 & fast 22 but I'm struggling.Usually fast monday & wednesdays which are work days but this week I'm off on holiday & struggling already.
On fast days I don't eat breakfast, have about 100-150cals for lunch & leave the rest for evening as that's my worst time.Usually don't feel hungry during the day but today I DO :starving:
I started my diet last week fasted Monday and Wednesday and kept to 1200 calories or lower the other days and have lost five pounds. Today I am wearing a skirt I haven't been able to wear for a couple of years :) Fasting today, porridge with water for breakfast then making a vegetable soup for tonight. Really enjoying losing the weight and being able to have the occasional glass of wine too. I need to lose another ten pounds to get to my goal weight, I have been a stone over weight since moving to Cornwall seven years ago.
Count me in! Good luck with the 1st fast Allieg and Tink,
and best of luck to everybody else of course.
Still lagging behind on the weight loss that I hope is coming, but always feels good to fast after an indulgent weekend regardless...
I have to say it is not that hard to save up calories for evening meal as i thought it would be. I even think I am starting to fear hunger a bit less. :like:

This isn't sustainable. It's best to think of this woe over one week & you are eating less than a 1000 cals a day on average. Either calorie restrict every day or fast and eat enough the other days to give yourself an overall calorie deficit.
Good morning fasters, I love the Monday fast. Rewatched MM's programme last night which is very motivating. I've enjoyed my normal eating days since last Thursday, which I think is important. It's too easy to get stuck in that diet frame of mind where food is the enemy. I don't subscribe to that for as BBT has just said it is unsustainable. This WOL moves you away from forever dieting and the unhealthy relationship with food that results.
The usual fasting today after the usual overindulgence over the weekend.. I've added a couple of pounds on over the weekend, and generally seem to be levelling out the weight - having lost between 20 - 22 lbs.. Not that it bothers me too much as I am at the weight I want to be now.. Just need to keep the programme going - 23rd fast and counting..
I'm trying my first Monday today.... usually do a Tuesday but eaten so much over the weekend I felt ready to cut down today! So far so good and everything planned and counted for tonight.
8th week, 15th fast. Had a week of not doing much exercise due to work pressure and weather preventing me from cycling on my commute (except on the fast days) and an indulgent weekend but have still lost on the tape measure. Struggling today, very very hungry, work stress not helping. I will get through it :) although i may have to have my hot chocolate earlier than normal.

Good luck all fasters, old and new :)
I'm fasting today. Just completed my 20th week. Last week I had lost 13 1/2 lbs and was very hopeful I would reach the stone mark today but I have put on 0.4 lb! - only the 3rd time I have had a gain and one of those was Christmas week. I have an underactive thyroid and weight loss is always difficult for me. Oh well onwards and downwards :frown:
3rd Fasting day for me today. Breakfast 1/2 cup of egg beaters & a slice of high fiber toast, coffee w low fat coffee mate. Plan to make homemade vegtable soup for dinner. Not sure how to count the calories though for the soup?
